The Eastbay-Foot Locker Cross Country Championships are a series of annual cross country running races held in various regions of the United States to determine the premier cross country runner in various age groups, but mainly serves to find the best prep (high school) cross country athlete in the country. Stockholm Bauhaus Athletics
BAUHAUS-galan, formerly known as DN-Galan is an annual, international athletics meeting that takes place at the Olympic Stadium in Stockholm. Previously it was one of the five IAAF Super Grand Prix events until 2010, and has since been part of the Diamond League circuit. It was first organized in 1967. Having been known as the DN-Galan since its first edition, a title sponsor deal with DIY company Bauhaus led to a rebranding of the event in 2015, following a period of financial instability for the organisers. Since 1967, the Dicksonpokalen (Dickson Trophy) is awarded to the winner of the men's 1500 metres or mile run at the competition. History After the 2019 season concluded the BAUHAUS-galan was announced to be separating from the professional Diamond League circuit of one-day meets. However, the meet was readmitted into the circuit and included in the Diamond League's 2020 calendar announcement.

Diamond League
The Diamond League is an annual series of elite track and field athletic competitions comprising fourteen of the best invitational athletics meetings. The series sits in the top tier of the World Athletics (formerly known as the IAAF) one-day meeting competitions. The inaugural season was in 2010. It was designed to replace the IAAF Golden League, which had been held annually since 1998. The full sponsorship name is the Wanda Diamond League, the result of an agreement with Wanda Group that was announced in December 2019. While the Golden League was formed to increase the profile of the leading European athletics competitions, the Diamond League's aim is to "enhance the worldwide appeal of athletics by going outside Europe for the first time." In addition to the original Golden League members (except Berlin) and other traditional European competitions, the series now includes events in China, Qatar, Morocco, and the United States. Beginning in March 2022, after the 2022 Russi ...

2013 World Championships In Athletics – Women's 3000 Metres Steeplechase
The women's 3000 metres steeplechase at the 2013 World Championships in Athletics was held at the Luzhniki Stadium on 10–13 August. No Kenyan or Ethiopian had won the Women's Steeplechase at the World Championships. It became quickly obvious that was going to change. From the gun the three Kenyans and the three Ethiopians formed a pack that separated from the rest of the field. At the beginning of the 6th lap Sofia Assefa, running at the back of the back, tripped over a barrier and fell, losing several seconds to the field. She got back up and tried to catch back up to the pack. Hyvin Kiyeng Jepkemoi was the first to fall out the back, passed by Assefa. But Milcah Chemos Cheywa and Lydiah Chepkurui were on the front of train, stringing out the Ethiopians. Chemos, running determined after two successive bronze medals, led out the final lap, with Assefa chasing her teammates. Chemos held her slight lead all the way to the finish. Assefa caught Hiwot Alayew just befo ...
