Ashley Hamilton (born 28 September 1988) is a British professional basketball player for Cáceres Ciudad del Baloncesto of the Spanish LEB Oro and for the Great Britain men's national basketball team, Great Britain men's national team. He played college basketball for Loyola Marymount Lions men's basketball, Loyola Marymount. High school career Hamilton played high school basketball at Lawrence Academy at Groton, Lawrence Academy, in Groton, Massachusetts. Liga Española De Baloncesto
The Liga Española de Baloncesto, also known as LEB Oro, is the second basketball division of the Spanish basketball league system after the Liga ACB. It is run by the FEB. The Liga Española de Baloncesto is divided into two categories (the other one is the LEB Plata). The LEB league was founded in 1996 and is played under FIBA rules. It was renamed LEB Oro in 2007. The league is contested by 18 clubs. Each season, the top-finishing team in the LEB Oro are automatically promoted to the Liga ACB. The Greek Basket League (GBL), often also referred to as the Greek A1 Basketball League, or Greek Basketball Championship (originally called Panhellenic Basketball Championship), and also known as the Stoiximan Basket League for sponsorship reasons, is the first tier level professional basketball league in Greece. The Lega Basket Serie A (LBA) is a professional men's club basketball league that has been organised in Italy since 1920. 2018–19 British Basketball League Season
The 2018–19 BBL season was the 32nd campaign of the British Basketball League since the league's establishment in 1987. The season featured 12 teams from across England and Scotland. The Leicester Riders were the three-time defending regular season champions, but were unable to defend that title as the London Lions achieved their first regular season title; a 99–80 victory at the Newcastle Eagles, on 26 April 2019, was enough for the Lions to have an unassailable lead ahead of the Riders. It was the Lions' second trophy of the season, after they defeated the Glasgow Rocks in the BBL Cup final.
