Winter Williams (formerly known as Ashley C. Williams, born January 24, 1984) is an American actress. She is known for her roles in the horror films ''The Human Centipede (First Sequence)'' (2009) and ''Julia'' (2014). Early life Williams was born in Boston, Massachusetts. She graduated from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City in 2005, where she received the Charles Jehlenger Award for excellence in acting. Career She is best known for her role as Lindsay in ''The Human Centipede (First Sequence),'' where she plays the middle member of the human centipede.. New York International Fringe Festival
The New York International Fringe Festival, or FringeNYC, was a fringe theater festival and one of the largest multi-arts events in North America. It took place over the course of a few weeks in October, spread on more than 20 stages across several neighborhoods in downtown Manhattan, notably the Lower East Side, the East Village, and Greenwich Village. Most of the venues were centered on the FringeHUB. Yearly attendance topped 75,000 people. Festival Unlike most Fringe festivals, FringeNYC uses a jury-based selection process. ''The Grapes of Wrath'' is a 1988 play adapted by Frank Galati from the classic 1939 John Steinbeck novel of the same name, with incidental music by Michael Smith. The play debuted at the Steppenwolf Theatre in Chicago, followed by a May 1989 production at the La Jolla Playhouse in San Diego and a June 1989 production at the Royal National Theatre in London. After eleven previews, the Broadway production, directed by Galati, opened on March 22, 1990 at the Cort Theatre, where it ran for 188 performances.
