Asgaut Olsen Regelstad
Asgaut Olsen Regelstad (1761 – 8 January 1847) was a Norwegian farmer and bailiff who served as a representative at the Norwegian Constituent Assembly at Eidsvoll in 1814. Asgaut Olsen Regelstad was born at the farm Nådå on Finnøy in Rogaland, Norway. He was raised on the neighboring Reilstad farm. He was the eldest of four children born to Ole Asgautsen (1764-1773) and Anna Reiersdatter (1736-1775). He was a farmer on Reilstad in Finney. He was also sheriff of Finney from 1816 to 1823. Additionally he was a member of the school commission, served as lay assistant to the parish priest and served as a magistrate judge. Finnøy
Finnøy is a former municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. The island municipality existed from 1838 until its dissolution in 2020 when it was merged into Stavanger Municipality. It was located in the traditional district of Ryfylke. The administrative centre of the municipality was the village of Judaberg. The municipality consisted of a number of islands on the south side of the Boknafjorden, about northeast of the city of Stavanger. The Finnøy Tunnel connects the two islands of Finnøy and Talgje to the mainland. The rest of the islands are accessible only by boat. Finnøy is an agricultural community dominated by dairy, meat, poultry, and fish farming products, with strong horticultural traditions, mainly greenhouse production of tomatoes, as well as some tourism. The Norwegian Constituent Assembly (in Norwegian ''Grunnlovsforsamlingen'', also known as ''Riksforsamlingen'') is the name given to the 1814 constitutional assembly at Eidsvoll in Norway, that adopted the Norwegian Constitution and formalised the dissolution of the union with Denmark. In Norway, it is often just referred to as ''Eidsvollsforsamlingen'', which means ''The Assembly of Eidsvoll''. Eidsvoll (; sometimes written as ''Eidsvold'') is a municipality in Akershus in Viken county, Norway. It is part of the Romerike traditional region. Lars Andreas Oftedahl
Lars (Laurentius, Lauritz, Lauriz) Andreas Oftedahl (19 May 1781 – 17 March 1843) was a Norwegian-Danish priest and a member of the Norwegian Constituent Assembly at Eidsvoll that wrote the Constitution of Norway on 17 May 1814. Biography Oftedahl was born in Copenhagen, his parents were Lars Larsen Oftedahl, later captain and arms manager, and Ellen Andersdatter (born Evetoft). He moved with his parents to Nyborg, and later to Christianssand, where he graduated as cand.theol. in 1801. From 1809 he was vicar at Rennesøy, Stavanger Amt. He became a renowned speaker, and was elected as one of three delegates from Stavanger Amt to the Eidsvoll Assembly in 1814, where he represented the unionist side. Christen Mølbach
Christen Mølbach (8 November 1766 – 7 July 1834) was a Norwegian merchant who represented Stavanger amt at the Norwegian Constituent Assembly at Eidsvoll in 1814. Christen (Andersen) Mølbach was born in Kristiansand in Vest-Agder, Norway, the son of Anders Christensen Mølbach (1735, died 1809 in Bergen; merchant) and Andrea Anthonette Kierulff (1733, died 1808 in Bergen). Christen Mølbach established himself as a merchant and official at Egersund in Rogaland, succeeding Hercules Weyer as "sorenskriver" (senior local official) and marrying Weyer's widow, Inger Margrethe Kiærulf, who was also Mølbach's second cousin (date of marriage: January 23, 1797).
