Arvid Torgeir Lie
Arvid Torgeir Lie (18 August 1938 – 19 May 2020) was a Norwegian poet, writer of short stories and translator. He was born in Skafså in Mo, current Tokke municipality. Among his poetry collections are ''Under fuglens vengjekross'' (1967) and ''Snøvinter'' (1968), and his collection of short stories, ''Den nye maskina og andre noveller'', came in 1986. He received the Halldis Moren Vesaas Prize in 1995, and the Dobloug Prize The Dobloug Prize ( sv, Doblougska priset, no, Doblougprisen) is a literature prize awarded for Swedish and Norwegian fiction. Skafså
Skafså is a parish in southern part of the municipality Tokke in Telemark, Norway. The Skafså Church was consecrated in 1839. The mountain farm Grimdalen, today a museum (Grimdalstunet), has farm buildings from the time of barter economy in the 17th century. Nearby is a collection of around 300 of Anne Grimdalen's sculptures. Tokke
Tokke is a municipality in Telemark in the county of Vestfold og Telemark in Norway. It is part of the traditional region of Vest-Telemark. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Dalen. The municipality of Tokke was created on 1 January 1964 upon the merger of the two older municipalities of Lårdal and Mo. Located in Lårdal, Eidsborg stave church is one of Norway's old stave churches. General information Name The name originally belongs to the river running through the municipality. The Old Norse form of the river name must have been ''Þotka'' and it is related to the name of the lake Totak (which it comes from). The Halldis Moren Vesaas Prize ()Halldis Moren Vesaas (1907—1995) was a Norwegian author, poet and translator. is a Norwegian literary prize which is awarded annually to a Norwegian for lyric or other poetry, which through the quality and magnitude of the work has established a significant voice in Norwegian poetry. The prize was established by the publisher Olaf Norlis Bokhandel upon Halldis Moren Vesaas' death in 1995.
