Artūras Jomantas (born May 4, 1985) is a Lithuanian professional basketball player who plays for Mažeikiai of the Lithuanian Basketball League. Professional career Born in Mažeikiai, Lithuania, he made his debut with Mažeikiai Nafta during the 2001-02 season. He played high-school basketball at Laurinburg Normal HS. In 2004, he signed with Šiauliai and played there until the end of the 2005–06 season. He joined Lietuvos rytas in 2006 and stayed there for 7 seasons. Despite being a solid player at first, his career in Lietuvos rytas quickly went downward, and he was eventually released in May 2013. Artūras Karnišovas (born April 27, 1971) is a Lithuanian professional basketball executive and former player. He is the current executive vice president of basketball operations of the Chicago Bulls of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Early life and college career Karnišovas was born in Klaipėda to Mykolas, a basketball player, and Irena. Artūras Kasputis (born 26 February 1967) is a retired track and road racing cyclist from Lithuania, who represented the USSR at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea. There he won the gold medal in the men's 4.000 team pursuit, alongside Viacheslav Ekimov, Dmitry Nelyubin and Gintautas Umaras. During the Soviet time he trained at Dynamo sports society in Klaipėda. Artūras Paulauskas (born 23 August 1953 in Vilnius) is a Lithuanian politician. He was the Speaker of Seimas, the parliament of Lithuania, from 2000 to 2006, and he served as Acting President of Lithuania from 6 April 2004 to 12 July 2004. Early career Artūras Paulauskas graduated from Vilnius University with a degree in law in 1976. He then worked as an investigator and a prosecutor. Artūras Antanas Skučas (born 7 March 1961) is a writer and military man of Lithuania. He was trained as an architect and is employed as an officer in the Lithuanian army. He was the editor of Sąjūdžio Žinios, the first non-governmental periodical publication in what was then still Soviet-occupied Lithuania. Artūras Zuokas (born 21 February 1968) is a Lithuanian politician. He is the Chairman of the political party Lithuanian Freedom Union. He was the Mayor of Vilnius from 2000 to 2007 and again from 2011 to 2015. From 2008 to 2009 he was a member of the Seimas (Lithuanian Parliament).
