''Artworks'' is a 2003 crime film directed by Jim Amatulli and starring Virginia Madsen, Rick Rossovich, Eddie Mills, and Daniel von Bargen. Premise A police chief's daughter, in home security sales, contacts an art gallery possessor. They love art and have despise for their clients' motives for gathering artworks. They think of a plot to steal overlooked but valuable artworks from her affluent clients' homes. Virginia Madsen
Virginia Gayle Madsen (born September 11, 1961) is an American actress and film producer. She made her film debut in ''Class'' (1983), which was filmed in her native Chicago. After she moved to Los Angeles, director David Lynch cast her as Princess Irulan in the science fiction film ''Dune'' (1984). Madsen then starred in a series of successful teen movies, including '' Electric Dreams'' (1984), ''Modern Girls'' (1986), and '' Fire with Fire'' (1986). Madsen received further recognition for her starring role as Helen Lyle in the horror film '' Candyman'' (1992). Frederic Enrico Rossovich (born August 28, 1957) is an American actor. Rossovich began acting in the early 1980s, first gaining recognition for portraying Ron "Slider" Kerner in the 1986 film ''Top Gun''. Rossovich's other movies include the thriller-drama ''The Lords of Discipline'' (1983), the sex comedy ''Losin' It'' (1983), the science fiction film ''The Terminator'' (1984), the romantic comedy '' Roxanne'' (1987), the witchcraft-themed thriller '' Spellbinder'' (1988), the thriller ''Paint It Black'' (1989), the military action film ''Navy SEALs'' (1990), and the Disney Channel Original Movie ''Miracle in Lane 2'' (2002). Daniel Von Bargen
Daniel von Bargen (June 5, 1950 – March 1, 2015) was an American character actor of film, stage and television. He was known for his roles as Mr. Kruger on ''Seinfeld'', Commandant Edwin Spangler on ''Malcolm in the Middle'', and Chief Grady in ''Super Troopers''. Early life Von Bargen was born to Juanita J. (née Bustle) and Donald L. von Bargen, and was of German and English descent. He was born in Cincinnati, where he grew up for most of his childhood before moving with his family to Southern California. In 1968, von Bargen graduated from Reading High School (Ohio), Reading High School. He graduated from Purdue University in Indiana. Crime films, in the broadest sense, is a film genre inspired by and analogous to the crime fiction literary genre. Films of this genre generally involve various aspects of crime and its detection.
