Artsiom Parakhouski (born October 6, 1987) is a Belarusian professional basketball player for Śląsk Wrocław (basketball), Śląsk Wrocław of the Polish Basketball League, PLK. Standing at , he plays at the Center (basketball), center position. He finished his American college career in 2010 with the Radford University Radford Highlanders men's basketball, Highlanders, located in Radford, Virginia. He led NCAA Division I (NCAA), Division I in Rebound (basketball), rebounds in 2009–10 NCAA Division I men's basketball season, 2009–10 at 13.4 per game. He was named the Big South Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Year in 2009 and 2010, becoming the fifth multiple player of the year winner in Big South Conference, Big South history. Basketball Club Minsk ( be, Мінск) is a professional basketball club that is based in the city of Minsk, Belarus. They play in the Belarus Premier League and the VTB United League. The team plays its home games at the Minsk Arena. Established in 2006 as BC Minsk-2006, the club has been the most successful team in Belarusian basketball. Baltic Basketball League (BBL) was the Baltic states basketball league founded in 2004. The league mainly focused on teams from the Baltic states, but teams from Sweden, Russia, Kazakhstan, Finland, and Belarus have participated in the Baltic League. After the 2017–18 season, the league announced that it was suspending its operations. History For the 2015–16 season, the format of the BBL included a regular season composed by two groups of seven teams that competed in a round-robin competition system, with each team facing their opponent twice. It is held during the week before the start of the Israeli Premier League season.
