Géza Von Bolváry
Géza von Bolváry (born Géza Gyula Mária Bolváry Zahn, german: Géza Maria von Bolváry-Zahn; 26 December 1897 – 10 August 1961) was a Hungarians, Hungarian actor, screenwriter, and film director, who worked principally in Germany and Austria. Biography Géza von Bolváry was born in Budapest. He attended the Imperial Military Academy in Budapest and subsequently served in the Hungarian army (Honved Hussars). After World War I he left military service with the rank of Royal Hungarian ''Rittmeister''. He then earned his living in the new Hungarian film industry. He began his career in about 1920 as an actor in various silent films, but soon changed to the Star-Film company, where he was first active as a director and made his debut as director and screenwriter with ''A Kétarcú asszony''. Werner Fuetterer
Werner Fuetterer (10 January 1907 in Barth, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern – 7 February 1991 in Benidorm, Province of Alicante, Spain) was a German film actor. He appeared in nearly 100 films between 1925 and 1967. In his early film career, Fuetterer often played young romantic lovers, but never managed the breakthrough to stardom. He later turned to character and supporting roles, often as the main characters best friend. Fuetterer remains perhaps best known for his role as the Archangel in F. W. Murnau's silent film classic ''Faust'' (1926). He later retired from acting and managed a camping facility in Spain, where he died in 1991 at age 84. A circus is a company of performers who put on diverse entertainment shows that may include clowns, acrobats, trained animals, trapeze acts, musicians, dancers, hoopers, tightrope walkers, jugglers, magicians, ventriloquists, and unicyclists as well as other object manipulation and stunt-oriented artists. Mary Johnson (actress)
Mary Johnson (born Astrid Maria Carlsson; 11 May 1896 – 15 May 1975) was a Swedish film actress of the silent era. Biography Astrid Maria Carlsson was born in Fors parish, Södermanland, Sweden. She debuted in the 1910s in the theater company of director Karin Swanström (1873–1942). In 1914, together with her first husband Karl Gerhard Johnson (1891–1964), she went to the Nya Teatern in Gothenburg acting under the direction of theatre manager Hjalmar Selander (1859–1928). During the 1920s, she moved to Berlin and appeared as a leading lady in a number of German films. In 1932, she married German film actor, Rudolf Klein-Rogge (1885–1955). She died at Brännkyrka and was buried in the memorial grove of Skogskyrkogården in Stockholm. Franz Schulz
Franz Schulz (born 22 March 1897 in Prague, Austria-Hungary, died 4 May 1971, in Muralto, Ticino, Tessin, Switzerland) was a playwright and screenwriter who worked from 1920 through 1956. Biography Schulz was born into a wealthy family, and although of the Jewish faith, religion played no role in the family. His father was a lawyer and a college friend of the writer Friedrich Adler (writer), Friedrich Adler. Lucia, one of his sisters, was the first wife of the painter László Moholy-Nagy. As a high school student Schultz studied the works of Max Brod, Egon Erwin Kisch, Franz Kafka, Paul Leppin, and Franz Werfel. Schulz graduated in 1915 from the Charles University in Prague and entered the army shortly thereafter. After release from service, he went to Berlin where he worked from 1918 to 1920 as a journalist, until writing for film.
