Artificial Horizon (album)
''Artificial Horizon'' is a compilation album of remixed tracks by rock band U2. It was released exclusively to subscribing members of U2.com, replacing '' Medium, Rare & Remastered''. The remix CD is of a similar vein to the band's 1995 release '' Melon: Remixes for Propaganda'', which was also released exclusively to fans. A triple-vinyl edition was released to the general public until 14 May 2010; this version included an MP3 for the Snow Patrol remix of the song " Unknown Caller". Composition ''Artificial Horizon'' includes thirteen remixed tracks spanning the most recent fifteen years of the band's career, including three which were previously unreleased. The opening track, "Elevation" (Influx mix) was taken from the 2001 single "Elevation". It was produced by Brian Eno and Daniel Lanois, and includes synthesizers played by Eno and guitarist The Edge. Hamish Hamilton (born Ish Hamilton; 8 April 1966) is a British director. She has directed the Super Bowl halftime show annually since 2010. I'll Go Crazy If I Don't Go Crazy Tonight
"I'll Go Crazy If I Don't Go Crazy Tonight" is the fifth song from U2's 2009 album ''No Line on the Horizon''. The song was released as the album's third single in a digital format on 25 August 2009 and in a physical version released on 7 September 2009. Two music videos were made, one directed by David O'Reilly, and one by Alex Courtes. Writing and recording The band collaborated with will.i.am in the creation of the track; will.i.am receives an "additional production" credit on the finished version. It was first developed by Brian Eno under the title "Diorama" during a break in the recording sessions. The band reworked the track under the new title of "Crazy Tonight" before retitling it again as "I'll Go Crazy If I Don't Go Crazy Tonight". Several of the song's lyrics were influenced by Barack Obama's presidential campaign. Frédérick Falke () (born 7 January 1973), known professionally as Fred Falke, is a French house and dance music producer and DJ. Biography Falke started out as a bass player before moving to production work. His first record, a collaboration with Alan Braxe named ''Intro'', which sampled The Jets' 1987 hit " Crush on You", was released in 2000 on Vulture Music. The pair would form a very productive partnership releasing a handful of singles and later making remixes for Goldfrapp, Röyksopp, Kelis, Justice, and others. "Magnificent" is a song by U2. It is the second track on the band's 2009 album ''No Line on the Horizon'' and was released as the album's second single. The song was originally titled "French Disco", but was renamed later in the recording sessions. It is played before the start of every New York Rangers home game at Madison Square Garden. The single was released on 4 May 2009 and reached number 42 on the UK Singles Chart. While well received by critics, it was the first domestically-released U2 single not to make the UK Top 40 since "A Celebration" in 1982. It did, however, reach number one on the Scottish Singles Chart, their second single from ''No Line on the Horizon'' to do so. ''The Complete U2'' is a digital box set by Irish rock band U2. It was released on 23 November 2004 by Apple Computer on the iTunes Store. It is the first major release of a purely digital online set by any artist. It contained the complete set of U2 albums, singles, live, rare and previously unreleased material from 1978 to 2004, with a total of 446 songs. This was accompanied by a PDF containing album art, track listings, and band commentary. In the US it originally retailed for $149.99, but a $50 coupon was included with the U2 Special Edition iPods from the fourth-generation iPod.
