Arthur Zanetti
Arthur Nabarrete Zanetti (born April 16, 1990) is a Brazilian artistic gymnast. He won the gold medal in the rings exercise at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, becoming the first Brazilian and Latin American gymnast to win an Olympic medal in history. He also won the gold medal at the 2013 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Antwerp. Career Zanetti is a rings exercise specialist. He occasionally competes in floor and vault exercises. He originated one skill, which is named after him in the Code of Points since 2013. 2009 Zanetti competed in 2009 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in London. He qualified in 8th for Rings Final and placed 4th during Event Finals, scoring 15.325. This was his best result that year. 2011 Zanetti won the gold medal on Rings at the 2011 Summer Universiade, in Shenzhen, China, with a score of 15.600. Gymnastics At The 2015 Pan American Games
Gymnastics competitions at the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto were held from 11 to 20 July at the Ricoh Coliseum; due to naming rights the venue was known as the Toronto Coliseum for the duration of the games. The competition was split into three disciplines, artistic, rhythmic and trampoline. Women competed in all three disciplines whereas the men only took part in the artistic and trampoline competitions. Competition venue The competitions took place at the Ricoh Coliseum (Toronto Coliseum) located about in CIBC Pan Am Park, about 7 kilometres from the athletes village. The arena had a capacity of about 7,200 people per session. The South American Games (also known as ODESUR Games; Spanish: ''Juegos Suramericanos''; Portuguese: ''Jogos Sul-Americanos''), formerly the Southern Cross Games (Spanish: ''Juegos Cruz del Sur'') is a regional multi-sport event held between nations from South America, organized by the ODESUR (acronym for "Organización Deportiva Suramericana" – ''South American Sports Organization''. Gymnastics competitions at the 2019 Pan American Games in Lima, Peru were held between July 27 and August 5, 2019 at the Polideportivo Villa El Salvador, which also hosted the karate competitions.
