Arthur (TV Presenter)
Arthur (born Jacques Essebag; 10 March 1966) is a French television presenter, producer and comedian. After dropping from law studies, he began his career as a host on local radio in the Paris region in the late 1980s. In the early 1990s, he found a certain notoriety by presenting programs on Fun Radio, Europe 1 and Europe 2 (''Arthur et les pirates'', ''PlanetArthur'' and ''Radio Arthur''). Starting in 1991, he became the host of television programs, first on France 2 and TF1 (''Les Enfants de la télé'', '' La Fureur''). Meanwhile, he started a theatrical career with two one-man shows, ''Arthur en vrai'' (2005) and ''I Show'' (2009) and portraying Peter Brochan in ''Le Dîner de Cons'' (2007), alongside Dany Boon. Gad Elmaleh ( ar, جاد المالح, Latn, ar, Gād el-Māleḥ; born 19 April 1971) is a Moroccan-Canadian stand-up comedian and actor who achieved fame in France, Morocco and the United States. He is best known in the French-speaking world and more recently in the United States. He has starred in several feature films, including '' Coco'', '' Priceless'', '' La Doublure'' and ''Midnight in Paris''. NRJ Music Awards
An NRJ Music Award (commonly abbreviated as an NMA) is an award presented by the French radio station NRJ to honor the best in the French and worldwide music industry. The awards ceremony, created in 2000 by NRJ in partnership with the television network TF1, traditionally took place every year in mid-January at Cannes (Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, France) as the opening of MIDEM (''Marché international de l'édition musicale''). It is now held in the month of November. They give out awards to popular musicians in different categories. The name "NRJ" means "Nouvelle Radio des Jeunes" (new radio of the young). Deal Or No Deal
''Deal or No Deal'' is the name of several closely related television game shows, the first of which (launching the format) was the Dutch '' Miljoenenjacht'' (''Hunt/Chase for Millions''). The centerpiece of this format is the final round (a.k.a. the "case game" or "main game" ) which is played with up to 26 cases (or, in some versions, boxes), each containing randomly assigned sums of money. After the player for the case game is determined, this contender claims (or is assigned) one case or a box at the start of the game, without its contents being revealed. The contestant then chooses the other cases or boxes, one at a time, to be immediately opened and removed from play. Throughout the game, the player is offered an amount of money or prizes to quit, being asked the titular question, "Deal or no deal?" ''À prendre ou à laisser'' (''Take it or leave it'') is the French version of the television game show ''Deal or No Deal''. It was premiered on 12 January 2004 on TF1. It is hosted by Arthur, the former vice-president of Endemol-France and a popular radio presenter. There are 22 boxes representing the 22 régions of France, with each contestant coming from that region. The prizes range from €0.01 to €500,000 and include (normally) three "joke" prizes (e.g. a cup or a coat hanger) and a "joker", containing an amount determined by the number of contestants who answer the "selection-question" correctly. The "joker" is €10,000 (sometimes €30,000) multiplied by the number of correct answers. There has been at least seven winners of the €500,000 prize. Michel Drucker
Michel Drucker, CQ (born 12 September 1942 in Vire) is a popular French journalist and TV host. He has been on screen for so long on various shows and different networks, both public and private, that he once said that some people joked that he was included in the price of their TV sets. Drucker's younger brother, Jacques, is a doctor, and his older brother, Jean, was a television executive. He started a journalistic career in 1965 at the ORTF as sports reporter and commentator. Although he kept doing live coverage of major soccer matches until 1986, he soon turned to hosting variety shows, such as ''Champs-Élysées'' on Antenne 2 in the 1980s, then Stars 90 on TF1 in the 1990s, then finally Vivement dimanche on France 2 every Sunday afternoon since 1998. Victoires de la Musique (; en, Victories of Music) is an annual French award ceremony where the Victoire accolade is delivered by the French Ministry of Culture to recognize outstanding achievement in the music industry. The classical and jazz versions are the Victoires de la musique classique and ''Victoires du Jazz''. The annual presentation ceremony features performances by prominent artists, some of the awards of more popular interest are presented in a widely viewed televised ceremony. Biography Son of a communist taxi driver, and a Spanish seamstress, Pascal Sevran was born on 16 October 1945 in Paris. His real name was Jean-Claude Jouhaud. Pierre Tcherniakowski (29 January 1928 – 8 October 2016), better known as Pierre Tchernia, was a French cinema and television producer, screenwriter, presenter, animator and actor. In France he was known as ''"Magic" Tchernia'' and ''Monsieur Cinema''. Early life Born in Paris as Pierre Tcherniakowski, he was the youngest of four children. Dieudonné M'bala M'bala (; born 11 February 1966), generally known by his stage name Dieudo, is a French comedian, actor and political activist. He has been convicted for hate speech, advocating terrorism, and slander in Belgium, France and Switzerland. Dieudonné initially achieved success working with comedian Élie Semoun, humorously exploiting racial stereotypes. He was a candidate in the 1997 and 2001 legislative elections in Dreux against the National Front.
