Art Warren
Arthur Frank Warren (born March 23, 1993) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the New York Yankees organization. He has previously played for the Seattle Mariners and Cincinnati Reds. Career Amateur career Warren attended Napoleon High School in Napoleon, Ohio and played college baseball at the University of Cincinnati and Ashland University. He was drafted by the Seattle Mariners in the 23rd round of the 2015 Major League Baseball draft. Seattle Mariners Warren made his professional debut with the Arizona League Mariners and pitched seven innings for them, giving up three runs and striking out ten. He started 2016 with the Clinton LumberKings and was promoted to the Bakersfield Blaze during the season. In 27 total games between the two teams, he posted an 11-2 record with a 3.17 ERA. In baseball, the pitcher is the player who throws ("pitches") the baseball from the pitcher's mound toward the catcher to begin each play, with the goal of retiring a batter, who attempts to either make contact with the pitched ball or draw a walk. The Clinton LumberKings are a collegiate summer baseball team of the Prospect League. They are located in Clinton, Iowa, and play their home games at NelsonCorp Field. From 1956 to 2020, they were members of Minor League Baseball's Midwest League. With Major League Baseball's reorganization of the minor leagues after the 2020 season, Clinton was not selected to continue in affiliated baseball. Hunter Greene (baseball)
Christian Hunter Greene (born August 6, 1999) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Cincinnati Reds of Major League Baseball (MLB). The Reds selected him second overall in the 2017 MLB Draft. Born in Los Angeles, California, Greene learned how to pitch at the Major League Baseball Urban Youth Academy in Compton. His fastball velocity was already during his first year at Notre Dame High School, and by the time he graduated in 2017, it was up to . The Reds drafted Greene out of high school, and he joined their farm system rather than playing college baseball.
