Arrelious Benn
Arrelious Markus Benn (born September 8, 1988) is a former American football wide receiver. He was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the second round of the 2010 NFL Draft. He played college football for the University of Illinois Fighting Illini. High school career A native of Washington, DC, Benn attended Dunbar High School in the Truxton Circle neighborhood, where he was teammates with Vontae Davis and Nate Bussey. Benn played wide receiver, running back, safety, and linebacker in high school, and was named a First-team High School All-American his senior season. That year, Benn caught 56 passes for 1,039 yards and nine touchdowns, the first Dunbar player to ever crack the 1,000 yard mark. Dwight Jones Jr. (born January 1, 1989) is an American football wide receiver who is currently a free agent. He was signed by the Houston Texans as an undrafted free agent in 2012. He played college football for the North Carolina Tar Heels. Early years Jones attended Hugh M. Cummings High School in Burlington, North Carolina before transferring to Hargrave Military Academy in Chatham, Virginia. Christopher LaBarren Culliver II (born August 17, 1988) is a former American football cornerback. He was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the third round of the 2011 NFL Draft. Terrence Lee Toliver (born May 7, 1988) is a former American football wide receiver. In 2011, he was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Houston Texans and later played for the Detroit Lions that year. He played college football for the LSU Tigers. He was LSU's leading receiver in 2010 and was selected as the offensive most valuable player in the 2011 Cotton Bowl Classic. In 53 games at LSU, Toliver totaled 126 catches for 1,820 yards. All-America
The All-America designation is an annual honor bestowed upon an amateur sports person from the United States who is considered to be one of the best amateurs in their sport. Individuals receiving this distinction are typically added to an All-America team for their sport. Some sports will have multiple All-America teams and will list the honorees as members of a first team, second team, or third team. As such, All-America teams are composed of outstanding US amateur players. Individuals falling short of qualifying for the honor may receive All-America honorable mention. The designation is typically used at the collegiate level although, beginning in 1957, high school- athletes in football began being honored with All-America status, which then carried-over to other sports like basketball and cross-country running. Linebacker (LB) is a playing position in gridiron football. Linebackers are members of the defensive team, and line up three to five yards behind the line of scrimmage and the defensive linemen. Safety is a position in gridiron football on the defense. The safeties are defensive backs who line up ten to fifteen yards from the line of scrimmage. There are two variations of the position: the free safety and the strong safety. Their duties depend on the defensive scheme. Nathan Lee "Nate" Bussey (born February 20, 1989) is a former American football linebacker. He was drafted by the New Orleans Saints in the seventh round of the 2011 NFL Draft. He played college football at Illinois. He was also a member of the Jacksonville Jaguars, Omaha Nighthawks and Hamilton Tiger-Cats.
