Army Black Knights Women's Lacrosse
The Army Black Knights women's lacrosse team is an NCAA Division I college lacrosse team representing the United States Military Academy as part of the Patriot League. They play their home games at Michie Stadium in West Point. Head coach The Black Knights were led by coach Kristen Skiera, who was named the team's inaugural head coach prior to the 2016 season. Prior to assuming the duties of Army's NCAA Division I program, Skiera was the coach of Army's club team for its final year. Michelle Tumolo was named head coach in June 2021. United States Military Academy
The United States Military Academy (USMA), also known metonymically as West Point or simply as Army, is a United States service academy in West Point, New York. It was originally established as a fort, since it sits on strategic high ground overlooking the Hudson River with a scenic view, north of New York City. It is the oldest of the five American service academies and educates cadets for commissioning into the United States Army. Patriot League
The Patriot League is a collegiate athletic conference comprising private institutions of higher education and two United States service academies based in the Northeastern United States. West Point, NY
West Point is the oldest continuously occupied military post in the United States. Michelle Tumolo
Michelle Tumolo (born March 20, 1991) is an American women's lacrosse coach and former player. She has been the Head Coach of the Army Black Knights women's lacrosse team since 2021. After playing with the Syracuse Orange women's lacrosse at the collegiate level, she was named to the US national team for the 2015–16 season. In 2016, she was selected by the Philly Force as their first-ever draft pick in the inaugural United Women's Lacrosse League Draft. Playing career Raised in the Mullica Hill section of Harrison Township, New Jersey, Tumolo began her career in the summer of 2005 before her freshman year at Clearview Regional High School, where she was a three-time captain. In her junior year, she participated in the 2008 National High School Girls' Lacrosse Tournament. Michie Stadium
Michie Stadium is an outdoor football stadium on the campus of the U.S. Military Academy in West Point, New York. The home field for the Army Black Knights, it opened in 1924 and has a current seating capacity of 38,000. The stadium sits at the upper portion of campus, directly west of Lusk Reservoir. The field is at an elevation of above sea level and runs in the traditional north–south configuration, with the press box above the west sideline. Wagner Seahawks
The Wagner Seahawks are composed of 23 teams representing Wagner College in intercollegiate athletics.
