Armaghetto
''Armaghetto'' is the second studio album by American hip hop duo Channel Live. It was released on July 18, 2000 through Flavor Unit Records. Recording sessions took place at Studio 57 and at the Weight Room in New York. Production was handled by Mike City, Poison Ivy, Buddah, Shamello, Chuckie Madness, and Channel Live themselves. It features guest appearances from Akbar, Benny Boom, Carl Thomas, Black Opz, Black Rob, Malik Yusef, Method Man, Ms. Toi, Rowdy Rahz and Spanish Fly. The album itself failed to make it to the US ''Billboard'' charts, but the single "Wild Out 2K" did make it to No. 48 on the Hot Rap Singles chart. Channel Live
Channel Live is an American hip hop duo composed of Vincent "Tuffy" Morgan and Hakim Green, which recorded for Capitol Records and Flavor Unit Records. Discovered by KRS-One, the duo released its debut album, ''Station Identification'', in 1995. It spawned the group's biggest hit, "Mad Izm", which peaked at 54 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100. After the album ran its course, the group continued to make appearances throughout the 1990s, including on KRS-One's self-titled album and on the soundtrack of the first Wesley Snipes ''Blade'' film. Mike City
Mike City (born Michael Flowers) is an American singer, songwriter and record producer. He is best known for producing the singles "I Wish" for Carl Thomas, " Heard It All Before" for Sunshine Anderson, "Full Moon" for Brandy and "One Woman Man" for Dave Hollister. Career He became a mentor of Anderson's after a friend discovered her singing a song by Lalah Hathaway in the cafeteria line at North Carolina Central University. He earned the moniker "Mike City" because he was an avid listener of the house music group Ten City. Initially a songwriter, City became a singer by trade and later a producer after needing an outlet to use the songs he wrote. Carlton Neron Thomas (born June 15, 1972) is an American R&B singer. Biography Thomas was born in Aurora, Illinois and attended East Aurora High School. He sang around Chicago and became a member of The Fourmula. He branched out, however, and traveled to New York City, where he sang at clubs during open-mic nights. One such performance caught the eye of Sean "Puffy" Combs, who signed Thomas to Bad Boy Entertainment in 1997. Benny Douglas (born July 22, 1971), professionally known as Benny Boom, is an American director who has worked in music, television, and film.
