Arm River is a river in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan. It is located in the south central part of the province in a region called the Prairie Pothole Region of North America, which extends throughout three Canadian provinces and five U.S. states. It is also within Palliser's Triangle and the Great Plains ecoregion. The river is a main tributary of Last Mountain Lake and is part of the Last Mountain Lake Sub-basin of the Upper Qu'Appelle Watershed. Last Mountain Creek drains Last Mountain Lake into the Qu'Appelle River near Craven. River's course The Arm River starts in the south-east corner of the Allan Hills in the RM of McCraney, near Horseshoe Lake. From there it heads south through a coulee into Vanzance Lake and then onto Arm Lake, near Craik and Highway 11. The Mersey River is a river on the north-west coast of Tasmania, Australia. The city of Devonport is situated at the river's mouth on Bass Strait. The source of this river is Lake Meston. From here the river feeds itself into Lake Youd. Lees Creek is a tributary to the Mersey River and it feeds into Lake Orion, Lake Merope, Lake Eros, Lake Artemis and Junction Lake prior to the Mersey. Feather Creek from Cathedral Mountain is a tributary to the Mersey River at this point. Campfire Creek is the next tributary. The Mersey flows into Lake Rowallan. Arm River (electoral District)
Arm River is a provincial electoral district for the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan, Canada. This constituency is located in south central Saskatchewan. Revived as a result of the 2013 revision of Saskatchewan's electoral districts, it was last contested in the 2020 election. Arm River was originally created before the 2nd Saskatchewan general election in 1908. The ''Representation Act, 2002 (Saskatchewan)'' merged this riding's first incarnation with parts of the Watrous and Last Mountain-Touchwood ridings to form the riding of Arm River-Watrous. Arm River-Watrous
Arm River-Watrous was a provincial electoral district for the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan, Canada. This constituency was located in south central Saskatchewan. It was dissolved as part of an election boundary redraw in 2013 primarily into Arm River. Grain farming and cattle ranching are the major economic activities of the area. Wynyard is home to the larger industries in this constituency. They include: Sunnyland Poultry Products, Big Quill Resources (Canada's largest manufacturer of potassium sulphate), and Cargill. Watrous is well known for the healing waters of Little Manitou Lake and its Mineral Spa. This resort community there, Manitou Beach, hosts visitors from around the world. Blackstrap Provincial Park is also located in this constituency. The three largest communities are Wynyard with a population of 1,919, Watrous with a population of 1,808 and Davidson (1,035).
