ArmComedy
''ArmComedy'' is an Armenian comedy show first aired in March 2012. It is aired thrice a week on ATV channel. Originally started as a satirical news website, it later evolved into a web series on the CivilNet Internet TV channel. After two years, the creators of the show were invited to expand to network television. ''ArmComedy'' became the "first satiric news show in Armenia dripped in political humor and wit, reporting the real news with a different perspective". Every episode of ArmComedy is written and hosted by Armenian comedians Narek Margaryan and Sergey Sargsyan. It has been dubbed in press as "Armenia's version of The Daily Show". In October 2015, Conan O'Brien was guest on ArmComedy during his trip to Armenia. He planned to invite the hosts on his show if they ever visited America. ''The Daily Show'' is an American late-night talk and satirical news television program. It airs each Monday through Thursday on Comedy Central with release shortly after on Paramount+. Iveta Mukuchyan
Iveta Mukuchyan ( hy, Իվետա Մուկուչյան, ; born 14 October 1986) is an Armenian singer. Born in Yerevan, Armenian Soviet Socialist Republic, she moved to Hamburg, Germany, in 1992. Mukuchyan returned to Armenia in 2009 and placed fifth in the fourth season of the talent competition ''Hay Superstar''. During this time, she received vocal training at the Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory. Mukuchyan also participated for season two of ''The Voice of Germany'' in 2012. She represented Armenia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 with the song "LoveWave", finishing seventh in the final. Nikol Vovayi Pashinyan ( hy, Նիկոլ Վովայի Փաշինյան, ; born 1 June 1975) is an Armenian politician serving as the prime minister of Armenia since 8 May 2018. A journalist by profession, Pashinyan founded his own newspaper in 1998, which was shut down a year later for libel. He was sentenced for one year for defamation against then Minister of National Security Serzh Sargsyan. He edited the newspaper ''Haykakan Zhamanak'' ("Armenian Times") from 1999 to 2012. Mkrtich Arzumanyan ( hy, Մկրտիչ Արզումանյան; born August 10, 1976), better known as Mko ( hy, Մկո) is an Armenian actor, humorist, showman, screenwriter, and producer. Arto Tunçboyacıyan ( hy, Արտո Թունջբոյաջյան; hyw, Արթօ Թունճպոյաճեան, Art'ō T'unjpoyajean; born August 4, 1957) is a United States-based avant-garde folk and jazz multi-instrumentalist and singer of Armenian descent. He fronts his own group called the Armenian Navy Band, and is also a member of the instrumental quartet Night Ark.
