Arlissa
Arlissa Ruppert (; born 21 September 1992), known professionally as Arlissa, is a German-born British singer and songwriter. She has released three singles, collaborated with Nas and was listed on the BBC's Sound of 2013. Life and career Arlissa Ruppert was born in Germany, and raised in London, UK. Her mother, who served in the U.S Army in Germany, is American and her father is German. Her debut track "Hard to Love Somebody" got the attention of a publisher, who eventually passed it on to rapper Nas. After hearing the track, Nas approached Arlissa to feature on it. "Hard to Love Somebody" was chosen as Scott Mills' record of the week on BBC Radio 1 in November 2012. Arlissa was named as one of the BBC’s one to watch for 2013, when she made the longlist for the Sound of 2013. ''The Ride'' is the sixth studio album released by Canadian singer-songwriter Nelly Furtado. It was released on 31 March 2017 by her own record label, Nelstar Music. It is her second independently released album after ''Mi Plan'' (2009). Background Furtado initially worked with the producer Mark Taylor on material for ''The Ride''. She had wanted to work with Taylor ever since he had produced " Broken Strings", her 2008 duet with the British singer-songwriter James Morrison. Guy James Robin (born 2 August 1989), known professionally as Jonas Blue, is an English DJ, record producer, songwriter, and remixer based in London.
