Arlene de Queiroz Xavier (born December 20, 1969) is a volleyball player from Brazil. She represented her native country at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece. Xavier was named "Best Libero" at the FIVB World Grand Prix 2006 in Reggio Calabria, Italy, where the Brazilian National Team claimed the gold medal for the sixth time at the annual competition. FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix
The FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix was an annual women's volleyball competition created in 1993. The men's version of the competition was called World League. This event should not be confused with the other international volleyball competitions, the World Championship, the World Cup and the World Grand Champions Cup. From 2018, the World Grand Prix was replaced by the FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League and Challenger Cup. Osasco Voleibol Clube is a professional women's volleyball club, based in Osasco, São Paulo (state), Brazil. It includes volleyball teams for females of all ages, children through adult. Since the 2021-22 season the club plays under the name Osasco/São Cristóvão Saúde. Minas Tênis Clube (short, just ''Minas'') is a social, recreational and sports club from Belo Horizonte, Brazil. By 2013, it has more than 73,000 members. Its patrimony comprises two urban units, the Minas I and Minas II, and two country units, Minas Country and Minas Tênis Náutico Clube.
