Arkansas Highway 38
Highway 38 (AR 38, Ark. 38, and Hwy. 38) is a designation for three state highways in Arkansas. One route of runs east from Highway 367 at Cabot to US Route 49 (US 49) near Hunter. A second route of begins at Interstate 40 (I-40) and runs east to Highway 147 near Horseshoe Lake. A third route of runs in West Memphis as Martin Luther King Jr. Drive from US 70 north to I-55/ US 61/ US 64/ US 79. All routes are maintained by the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD). Route description Cabot to Hunter Highway 38 begins at US 67 and then intersects Highway 367 at the city limits of Cabot in Lonoke County. Grand Prairie is a city in Dallas, Tarrant, and Ellis counties of Texas, in the United States. It is part of the Mid-Cities region in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. Arkansas Highway 13
Highway 13 (AR 13, Ark. 13 and Hwy. 13) is a designation for three state highways in the central part of the U.S. state of Arkansas. The longest segment of travels from U.S. Route 79 (US 79) in Humphrey to Campground Road east of Beebe. There exists two short segments in White County; one traveling from Highway 367 in McRae to Highway 36 in Searcy and the other traveling from Highway 367 in Judsonia to Highway 258. The southern part of Highway 13 was replaced by Highway 81 during World War II. Then, in 1989, when US 425 was commissioned, it replaced most of Highway 81. The route of runs from U.S. Route 79B (US 79B) near Pine Bluff north across US 165, US 70, Interstate 40 (I-40) and US 64/US 67/US 167 (Future Interstate 57 ) before terminating at Highway 5 near Romance. Route description The highway begins north of Pine Bluff at US 79B and runs north to intersect Highway 15 near Sherrill. Continuing north of this junction Highway 31 passes the Tucker Unit and passes through farm fields before it enters Lonoke County. The route passes the Walls Farm Barn and Corn Crib, listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) north of Tomberlin before it has a short concurrency with US 165 through Coy (a rare officially designated exception). The Italianate style was a distinct 19th-century phase in the history of Classical architecture. Like Palladianism and Neoclassicism, the Italianate style drew its inspiration from the models and architectural vocabulary of 16th-century Italian Renaissance architecture, synthesising these with picturesque aesthetics. Sears House (Austin, Arkansas)
The Sears House is a historic house on Moss Lane, southeast of the junction of Arkansas Highways 38 and 319 in Austin, Arkansas. It is a single story wood-frame structure, with a side gable roof, weatherboard siding, and a foundation of wood and concrete blocks. The roof gable is bracketed in the Italianate style, while the main entrance is sheltered by a project gabled Greek Revival portico. The house was built about 1860 and is a rare surviving example of an antebellum late Greek Revival-Italianate house. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.
