Arkadiusz Jakubik (; born 14 January 1969 in Strzelce Opolskie) is a Polish actor, scriptwriter, voice actor and musician. Known mainly for portrayal of a disabled cop Rysio in ''13 posterunek'' sitcom and for wide collaboration with Wojciech Smarzowski. A 1992 graduate of Ludwik Solski Academy for the Dramatic Arts – Faculty in Wrocław. In 2008 he founded and became the vocalist of a rock band Dr Misio. Strzelce Opolskie
Strzelce Opolskie (german: Groß Strehlitz, szl, Wielge Strzelce) is a town in southern Poland with 17,900 inhabitants (2019), situated in the Opole Voivodeship. It is the capital of Strzelce County. Demographics Strzelce Opolskie is one of the biggest centers of German minority in Poland. Transport The town is located along the major rail line which joins Gliwice and Opole. Until 1999, there was a branch line connecting Strzelce Opolskie with Kędzierzyn Koźle. It closed as part of PKP's cost-cutting measures, although the rails still (2006) remain in site. The town is located on the Polish National road No. 94, and the Voivodeship roads 409 and 426. History The settlement was mentioned in 13th-century documents, when it was part of Piast-ruled Poland. The Dark House (2009 Polish Film)
The Dark House ( pl, Dom zły) is a 2009 Polish horror/drama film directed by Wojciech Smarzowski. Plot Edward Środoń, an unemployed zootechnician from Mosty with a dark past and a growing drinking problem, tries to start over with a clean slate. He sets out to the Bieszczady Mountains to take up a job there at the local State Agricultural Farm. A twist of events makes him stop over for the night at the house of the Dziabas family. The initial feelings of mutual distrust between the guest and his hosts are softened with consecutive rounds of moonshine. Środoń slowly learns more about the family and its own problems. The unfolding story is intertwined with a parallel one which sees Środoń four years later, during martial law in Poland, taking part in a reenactment of the events that took place at the Dziabas house during his visit. Volhynia (Polish: Wołyń) is a 2016 Polish war drama directed by Wojciech Smarzowski. The film is set in the 1939–1943 time frame and its central theme is Ukrainian anti-Polish hatred culminating in massacres of Poles in Volhynia. The screenplay was based on the collection of short stories titled ''Hate'' (Polish: ''Nienawiść'') by Stanisław Srokowski.
