Arizona Storm was a professional indoor soccer team based in Phoenix, Arizona. They played in the Southwestern Division of the Professional Arena Soccer League. Launched in 2011 as the "Phoenix Monsoon" with the Phoenix Sports Centre in Phoenix as their home turf, the team relocated to the Arizona Sports Complex in Glendale, Arizona, Glendale for the 2012–13 Arizona Storm season, 2012–13 season. The team folded after the end of that season. Reid Schmitt (born September 13, 1987) is a former American soccer player who formerly played for the now defunct Phoenix FC in the USL Professional Division. Schmitt signed for Phoenix FC Phoenix FC was an American professional soccer team based in Phoenix. Avondale is a city in Maricopa County, Arizona, United States, adjacent to Phoenix. As of the 2020 census, the population of the city was 89,334, up from 76,238 in 2010 and 35,883 in 2000. Robert David Paul (born February 6, 1987) is an American soccer player who plays for Sporting AZ FC in the United Premier Soccer League. Career Paul played college soccer at Southern Wesleyan University from 2005 to 2008, earning all-conference honors and All-American honors every season. After college, Paul travelled to Argentina and England, earning trials with West Ham United and Milton Keynes Dons, but didn't earn a contract with either club. Returning to the US, Paul coached at Grand Canyon University for a year, before eventually earning his first professional contract with Polish club Puszcza Niepołomice in 2011. David Hague (born 22 February 1982) is an English footballer from Jarrow in England. Career He played college soccer at Tyler Junior College before transferring to Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. At Tyler Junior college, Hague played under Coach Steve Clements and had two injury interrupted years although still managed to play his part as the team finished in the top 10 NJCAA for both years he was there. His highest goal tally in two years was 10 goals in his sophomore year. Grand Canyon took Hague from Junior college and he reached his full potential in his senior year. Hague had one of the best offensive seasons recorded at any level of college soccer. GCU finished 14-6 and Hague finished the season with 33 goals and 7 assists.
