Arent Nicolai Dragsted
Arent Nicolai Dragsted (9 June 182115 August 1898) was a Denmark, Danish goldsmith based in Copenhagen who was granted the predicate List of Purveyors to the Court of Denmark, Purveyor to the Court of Denmark shortly before his death. His company, A. Dragsted, still exists today. Dragsted created the golden horn that was presented to Bernhard Severin Ingemann by Danish women on the occasion of his 75 years birthday. The horn is now on display in the Danish Museum of National History at Frederiksborg Castle in Hillerød. He has also created the golden wreath for Frederick VII of Denmark, Frederick VIIøs sarcofague in Roskilde Cathedral. Arend de Keysere (Arnoldus cesaris, Arnoul de Keysere) ( ? - Ghent, 1490) was a Flemish masterprinter of incunabula. De Keysere, who very probably was trained as a printer in France, started printing in Oudenaarde in 1480. Shortly afterwards, in 1483, he established himself as a printer in Ghent where he stayed until his death in 1490. De Keyser edited 33 publications : 13 letters of indulgence, 9 theological works and 5 official publications; 23 of them were in Latin, 8 in Dutch and 3 in French. __NOTOC__ Arend Heyting (; 9 May 1898 – 9 July 1980) was a Dutch mathematician and logician. Biography Heyting was a student of Luitzen Egbertus Jan Brouwer at the University of Amsterdam, and did much to put intuitionistic logic on a footing where it could become part of mathematical logic. Heyting gave the first formal development of intuitionistic logic in order to codify Brouwer's way of doing mathematics. The inclusion of Brouwer's name in the Brouwer–Heyting–Kolmogorov interpretation is largely honorific, as Brouwer was opposed in principle to the formalisation of certain intuitionistic principles (and went as far as calling Heyting's work a "sterile exercise"). Arend Hendrik "Arie" Hassink (born 9 December 1950) is a retired Dutch cyclist who was active between 1969 and 1983. He competed at the 1976 Summer Olympics in the 100 km team time trial and individual road race and finished in 17th and 25th place, respectively. Arend "Arie" Haan (; born 16 November 1948) is a Dutch football manager and former player who played as a midfielder. He scored 6 goals in 35 matches for the Netherlands national team of the 1970s. At club level, he enjoyed a successful career with AFC Ajax, R.S.C. Anderlecht, Standard Liège and PSV Eindhoven. He participated in seven finals of European club competitions with five victories and two defeats. He was also known for his goals from long distance. Arent Greve
Arent Greve (also spelled Arndt, 18 October 1733 – 20 December 1808) was a Norwegian jeweler, goldsmith and painter. Arent Jansen Greve was born in Bergen, Norway. He was one of the sons of goldsmith Jan Arentsen Greve (1705-1773) and his wife Maren, née Engelsdorph (1711-1796). He took his goldsmith's education at Fabricius in Copenhagen from 1753. He later traveled extensively in France, German and Italian states to study. He later returned to Bergen, where he acquired burghership in January 1774. In the same year he married a merchant's daughter from Christianssand. In addition to being a goldsmith, Greve created other sorts of craftings and paintings. Among others he became known for his aquarelles and miniature portraits. He died at his country estate Åstvedt hovedgård in Fana.
