Leonard Goldstein (May 28, 1903 – July 23, 1954) was an American film producer who produced mainly low-budget films, making multiple films at a time.Vogel p.51 Biography He started as a theatre booking agent in Los Angeles and moved to New York in 1928. He joined Consolidated Film Industries from 1933 to 1936 before going to work for producer George Hirliman. His first film credit was as associate producer on ''Daniel Boone'' for RKO Pictures and his first as producer was '' Black Bart'' in 1948. In 1946, he moved to International Pictures which later merged with Universal Pictures. He produced the first six films in the successful Ma and Pa Kettle film series, although Ma and Pa Kettle at Waikiki made in 1952 was the seventh to be released in 1955 after he had died. He also produced several of the Francis the Talking Mule films. Oscar Brodney (February 18, 1907 – February 12, 2008) was an American lawyer-turned-screenwriter. He is best known for his long association with Universal Studios, where his credits included ''Harvey'', ''The Glenn Miller Story'' (1954), several ''Francis the Talking Mule, Francis'' movies and the ''Tammy (film series), Tammy'' series. Biography He was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts, the son of an immigrant fisherman. One of seven children, a younger brother was the painter Edward Brodney and his older brother Max a doctor. Brodney attended both Boston University and Harvard College. Carol Thurston (born Betty Lou Thurston; September 27, 1920 – December 31, 1969) was an American film and television actress who played the fictitious Emma Clanton in eight episodes (1959-1961) of the ABC/Desilu western television series ''The Life and Legend of Wyatt Earp''. Background Thurston was born in North Dakota of Irish descent to Harvey E. Thurston and the former Marie O'Loughlin. Wally Cassell (born Oswaldo Silvestri Trippilini Rolando Vincenza Castellano; March 3, 1912 – April 2, 2015) was an Italian-born American character actor and businessman. Early years Wally Cassell was born as Oswaldo Silvestri Trippilini Rolando Vincenza Castellano. (A 1951 newspaper article gives Cassell's real name as Osvaldo Tripolini Ronaldo Vincennes Castelleno.)
