Arcade (band)
Arcade was an American glam metal supergroup formed in 1992 by ex-Ratt vocalist Stephen Pearcy, Cinderella drummer Fred Coury among others. The band featured ex-Sea Hags guitarist Frankie Wilsey, ex-Gypsy Rose guitarist Donny Syracuse, and ex-9.0 bassist Michael Andrews. Its originally proposed name was to be Taboo. Arcade released two studio albums. Their first self-titled album was released in June 1993, and contained 12 songs. Notably, the cover-art for ''Arcade'' featured the face of porn star Mimi Miyagi. "Nothin' To Lose", "Cry No More" and "Messed Up World" were singles. The album sold over 100,000 copies in the US. Arcade went on tour with Bon Jovi in 1993 and also played at the Milwaukee Metal Fest that year. Arcade's second album was recorded and released in 1994 and was produced by Attie Bauw. Vertex (band)
Vertex was a band formed in 1995 featuring singer Stephen Pearcy (Ratt, Arcade, Vicious Delite, Nitronic), guitarist Al Pitrelli (Danger Danger, Hotshot, Alice Cooper, Asia, Savatage, Megadeth, Trans-Siberian Orchestra), and drummer Hiro Kuretani (WXXI, Trancentral Station). They released a self-titled album in 1996 as well as a single for the track "One Like a Son" that included two remixes by Eric Caudieux and Stan Katayama. A video for this single was also released. All bass parts were played by Pitrelli, who also recorded keyboards. Bob Daisley played bass on tracks "Time and Time" and "Ain't Gonna Be". The album is a concept album with a single narrator, chain of events and re-occurring characters. Kuretani, who had met Stephen Pearcy at a gig where he opened for Stephen's band Arcade. Vicious Delite
Vicious Delite was an alternative metal band formed by Stephen Pearcy in 1995 after Arcade disbanded. Completing the line-up were Tony Marcus, Michael Andrews (both formerly from Arcade) and Rob Karras. Mike Duda (of W.A.S.P.) later replaced Andrews on bass guitar. Rob Karras, also formerly of the Bulletboys, died in 2012. They released a limited self-titled EP, followed by a full-length album in 1995.
