''Arbanitis yorkmainae'' is a species of armoured trap-door spider in the family Idiopidae, and is endemic to New South Wales. It was first described by Wishart and Rowell in 2008 as ''Misgolas yorkmainae'', but was transferred to the genus, ''Arbanitis ''Arbanitis'' is a genus of Australian armored trapdoor spiders that was first described by Ludwig Carl Christian Koch in 1874. Idiopidae, also known as armored trapdoor spiders, is a family of mygalomorph spiders first described by Eugène Simon in 1889. They have a large body similar to tarantulas.
