Arameisk-Syrianska IF
Arameisk-Syrianska IF is a Swedish based football club in Botkyrka, a suburb of Stockholm. The club was formed as Arameiska-Syrianska KIF by Syriacs (Arameans) in 1980 and has advanced through the league system, currently (2017) playing in the third highest Swedish league, Division 1. In 2008, the club used the name ''Syrianska Botkyrka IF'' after having concluded a cooperation with Botkyrka municipality in early 2008. The club has previously been called Arameiska-Syrianska KIF and Syrianska Botkyrka IF, but is now known as Arameisk-Syrianska IF. Norsborg
Norsborg is a part of Botkyrka Municipality in Stockholm County, Sweden. Norsborg consists of the residential areas Hallunda, Eriksberg, Botkyrka, Eriksberg and Slagsta. Norsborg and Hallunda are contiguous suburbs. History Norsborg was previously a country estate in the Botkyrka parish, situated on a bay of Vårbyfjärden and with some of the property facing Bornsjön, as well as Kärsby and Tomtberga with an area of 350 hectares. The area, which was originally called Borg and was part of the village of Hundhamra, but in the late 1700s the property was named Norsborg after the owner Count Johan Liljencrantz's wife Eleonora Stjernstedt. Liljencrantz also owned Sturehov, Slagsta farm and Fittja in the same parish and had Norsborg's manor built. The 2009 Division 1 was contested by 28 teams divided into two groups geographically. Degerfors IF and Östers IF won their respective groups, and were thereby qualified for play in the 2010 Superettan. IK Brage who finished second in their group were also promoted after winning their playoff. Assyriska Fotbollsföreningen, also known simply as Assyriska FF, is a Swedish football club based in Södertälje, Stockholm County. The club, formed in 1974 by Assyrian immigrants, has advanced through the league system and is currently playing in the fourth highest Swedish league, Division 2. They played in the highest Swedish football league Allsvenskan in 2005 where their games were broadcast in over 80 countries. The club has also played a final in Svenska Cupen, which was lost against IF Elfsborg in 2003. Assyriska is often viewed as a substitute national team by the Assyrian people. The 2017 Division 1, part of the 2017 Swedish football season is the 12th season of Sweden's third-tier football league in its current format. The 2017 fixtures were released in December 2016. The season started on 13 April 2017 and will end on 4 November 2017. Teams 28 teams contest the league divided into two divisions, Norra and Södra. 18 returning from the 2016 season, three relegated from Superettan and seven promoted from Division 2. Division 2 is the fourth level in the league system of Swedish football and comprises 84 Swedish football teams. Division 2 had status as the official second level from 1928 to 1986 but was replaced by Division 1 in 1987. It then had status as the official third level until 2005 but was replaced once again by the recreated Division 1 in 2006. Overview In the Division, there are 84 clubs which are divided in six groups of 14 teams each representing a geographical area.
