Arahan
''Arahan'' () is a 2004 South Korean action film directed by Ryoo Seung-wan and starring his brother Ryoo Seung-bum along with Yoon So-yi, Ahn Sung-ki and Jung Doo-hong. The film was a relative commercial success, selling over 2 million tickets domestically, but wasn't as well received by critics as Ryoo Seung-wan's previous films. Plot When a thief driving a motorcycle steals a purse of a pedestrian, the clumsy, naive and honest rookie policeman Sang-hwan runs after him, but Eui-jin, specialist in martial arts, captures the criminal swang and Sang-hwan is severely injured. She brings Sang-hwan to her home, where the six Masters of Tao heal him and believe that he has a powerful Qi, the spiritual energy of the universe, and could be a powerful warrior. Yoon So-yi
Yoon So-yi (born Moon So-yi on January 5, 1985) is a South Korean actress. She debuted as a print and commercial model, then began acting in Ryoo Seung-wan's action-comedy film ''Arahan'' in 2004, followed by '' Shadowless Sword'' in 2005. Yoon has had leading roles in television dramas, notably in ''Goodbye Solo'' (2006), ''Glass Castle'' (2008), ''Hero'' (2009), and ''Warrior Baek Dong-soo'' (2011). Career Yoon So-yi made her entertainment debut as a model in Graffiti Magazine in 2001. Jung Doo-hong (born December 14, 1966) is a South Korean action director, martial arts choreographer, stunt coordinator, and actor. Early life Jung Doo-hong was born in 1966 in Chilsan-ri, Imcheon-myeon, Buyeo County, South Chungcheong Province, the youngest of seven siblings. As a child, he was small for his age and had an unusually shy and introspective personality. Ryoo Seung-wan (born December 15, 1973) is a South Korean film director. Early life Ryoo Seung-wan was born in 1973 in Onyang, a small town in South Chungcheong Province. With the choice of domestic films mostly limited to propaganda and hostess films due to extreme government censorship, young Ryoo often opted for the more kinetic and free-spirited action films from the Shaw Brothers canon. Watching Jackie Chan's ''Drunken Master'' turned him into a lifelong fan, and Ryoo spent his youth building his knowledge of and love for Hong Kong-style action films. Ahn Sung-ki
Ahn Sung-ki (born January 1, 1952) is a South Korean actor. One of the country's most respected actors, he has appeared in more than 130 films during his career of over 60 years. Career A native of Seoul, Ahn was the son of a veteran filmmaker and producer and started out as a child actor, appearing in director Kim Ki-young's celebrated film '' The Housemaid'' (1960). He stopped acting in films to concentrate on his studies but was active in theater as a student at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies. He completed mandatory military service in 1976 as an artillery officer after earning his commission via the Reserve Officers' Training Corps program.
