Aragorn (comics)
Aragorn was a fictional winged horse appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Aragorn has served as a mount for various characters. Fictional character biography First Aragorn Professor Nathan Garrett, the criminal Black Knight, developed genetic engineering techniques capable of granting a horse the wings of a bird. He used it to create a mount to ride during his criminal adventures. After Garrett's final defeat by Iron Man, this horse escaped, was found and further mutated by Victor Frankenstein's great-granddaughter Victoria (who had originally tried to restore it to normal), and fell into the possession of the Dreadknight, who named it the Hellhorse. Second Aragorn As Garrett was dying, he persuades his nephew Dane Whitman to take his scientific discoveries and use them for good. Surtur (Marvel Comics)
Surtur is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, commonly as an enemy of Thor. Based on the fire giant Surtr from Norse mythology, he was adapted by writer Stan Lee and artist Jack Kirby, and first appeared in ''Journey into Mystery'' #97 (October 1963). The character was once described as one of "The Ten Most Heinous Enemies of the Mighty Thor". The character has appeared in several media adaptations of Thor. Wakanda () is a fictional country appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Wakanda has been depicted as being in East Africa. Namorita Prentiss is a superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. She is a mutant clone of her mother, Namora, and a member of the New Warriors. She was killed in the explosion in Stamford that started the Superhero Civil War. A version of her from an alternate universe took her place in the aftermath. The Defenders are a set of superhero groups with rotating membership appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics.
