Aqua (producer)
Nicholas McCarrell (born April 6, 1982), professionally known as Aqua, is an American record producer and composer of film and television scores. As a record producer, he has most notably worked with Roc-a-fella Records artists Jay-Z, Kanye West, and Beanie Sigel. His scoring credits include ''Entourage'' and ''George Lopez''. Early career Aqua began his music career as an intern at MTV News until August 2001. He began distributing copies of his demo in January 2002 after moving back to Los Angeles, generating a buzz within the Roc-A-Fella camp. This buzz began Aqua's relationship with Jay-Z, producing " My 1st Song" off of Jay's Black Album. Television credits ''George Lopez'' Nicholas became the sole composer of ''George Lopez'' in 2002. He scored every episode from 2002-2007 that aired on ABC, entering syndication one month after the series finale. ''Rich Boy'' is the eponymous debut studio album by American rapper Rich Boy, released on March 13, 2007 through Interscope and Zone 4. The album was supported by Rich Boy's smash hit debut single, "Throw Some D's" produced by and featuring Polow da Don, which peaked at number six on the Billboard Hot 100. Marece Benjamin Richards (born September 2, 1983), better known by his stage name Rich Boy, is an American rapper from Mobile, Alabama. He is best known for the hit single "Throw Some D's" (featuring Polow da Don) released in August 2006. It was the lead single for his eponymous debut album, released a year later in March under Polow da Don's Zone 4 and Interscope Records. In 2009, one of his follow-up singles " Drop" became popular online through remixes and freestyles from then-upcoming internet rappers, including Childish Gambino, Kid Cudi, and Earl Sweatshirt. The Main Ingredient was an American soul and R&B group best known for their 1972 hit song "Everybody Plays the Fool". Early history The group was formed in Harlem, New York City in 1964 as a trio called the Poets, composed of lead singer Donald McPherson (July 9, 1941 – July 3, 1971), Luther Simmons Jr. (September 9, 1942 – May 9, 2016), and Panama-born Tony Silvester (October 7, 1941 – November 26, 2006). They made their first recordings for Leiber & Stoller's Red Bird label, but soon changed their name to the Insiders and signed with RCA Records. In 1968, after a couple of singles, they changed their name once again, this time permanently, to The Main Ingredient. The name came from a Coca-Cola bottle. ''100 Miles & Running'' is the third official mixtape by Washington, D.C. rapper Wale. It was released on July 11, 2007. The mixtape was mixed by Nick Catchdubs and featured remixes of songs by Amy Winehouse, Lily Allen and Justice. The mixtape also includes appearances from Daniel Merriweather, Mark Ronson and Tabi Bonney. Olubowale Victor Akintimehin (born September 21, 1984), better known by his stage name Wale ( ), is an American rapper.
