Appunni
''Appunni'' is a 1984 Indian Malayalam-language romantic comedy film directed by Sathyan Anthikad and written by V. K. N. It is based on V. K. N.'s story ''Premavum Vivahavum'' and it is the only screenplay he has written. The film stars Nedumudi Venu in the title role, while Mohanlal, Menaka, Bharath Gopi, and Sukumari play other lead roles. Plot The film explores the complicated love triangle between the characters played by Nedumudi Venu, Mohanlal and Menaka. Appunni and Ammukutty are lovers from childhood. Padiyath Kochumoideen Kunjalu (1930 22 May 2000), known by his stage name Bahadoor, was an Indian actor and comedian who, along with Adoor Bhasi, redefined the way in which comedy and funny scenes were perceived in the Malayalam cinema. They made a significant contribution toward establishing comedy as the predominant genre of Malayalam cinema. Bahadoor also appeared in some serious roles and in professional plays. Sathyan Anthikad is an Indian film director, screenwriter, and lyricist who predominantly works in Malayalam cinema. In a career spanning five decades he has directed more than 50 films, been the lyricist for 12 films and been the scriptwriter for 6 films. Anandakuttan (1954 – 2016) was an Indian cinematographer who worked predominantly in Malayalam cinema.
