''Apokalips X'' is a 2014 Malaysian Malay-language post-apocalyptic action film directed and written by Mamat Khalid. Synopsis Apocalypse X tells the story of a human civilization that lives after a Nuclear War breaks out in 2047. The remnants of humanity that survived the war live in chaos, lost their purpose and become violent. Then, several clans appeared that argued and killed each other for survival and the title of leader. Humans are currently divided into five factions namely Merah Putih led by X (Farid Kamil), Taring Led led by Sri Gala (Peter Davis), Flora led by Kulat (Zoee Tan), Lotus led by Melur (Vasanth) and Jingking led by Y (Jehan Poor) of the 30 tribes originally. Mamat Khalid
Mohamad Mohamad Khalid, known professionally as Mamat Khalid (6 April 1963 – 24 October 2021) was a Malaysian screenwriter, film director, and occasional actor. He was the younger brother of cartoonist Datuk Mohammad Nor Khalid, better known as Lat. Apart of his career as a film director, Mamat was a founder and owner of his cafe, Sarang Art Hub which is located at Tanjung Malim and opened in 2016. Life and career Mamat was born on 6 April 1963 in Ipoh, Perak. As a young boy, he used to go to the cinemas every other day to catch the latest movies. Unfortunately, his hobby did not resonate well with his father, who banned him from frequenting cinemas even on his deathbed. However, that did not break the young Mamat's passion for films. Farid Kamil
Farid Kamil bin Zahari (born 5 May 1981) is a Malaysian actor, director and screenplay writer. He is a well-known male model turned actor who has made a big reputation of himself as one of Malaysia's most famous actors since Rosyam Nor in the 1990s for several of his outstanding performances in drama series and movies alike.
