''Apnapan'' ( ''Kinship'') is a 1977 Indian Hindi-language drama film, produced and directed by J. Om Prakash under the FILMYUG Pvt. Ltd. banner. It stars Sanjeev Kumar, Jeetendra, Reena Roy and Sulakshana Pandit, and has music composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal. The film is recorded as a ''Super Hit'' at the box office. This film was remade in Telugu as ''Illalu'' (1981). Roy played a selfish gold-digger who abandons her husband and child, which garnered her critical acclaim and a Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress. The 26th Filmfare Awards were held in 1979. ''Main Tulsi Tere Aangan Ki'' and ''Muqaddar Ka Sikandar'' led the ceremony with 9 nominations each, followed by ''Satyam Shivam Sundaram'' and ''Trishul'' with 6 nominations each, and ''Don'' with 5 nominations. Sayedna Iftekhar Ahmed Sharif (22 February 1924 – 4 March 1995), often mononymously credited as Iftekhar, was an Indian actor who mainly worked in Hindi cinema. He is known for his role as a police officer. Career Iftekhar was born in Jalandhar and was the eldest among four brothers and a sister. After completing his matriculation, Iftekhar did a diploma course in painting from Lucknow College Of Arts. Kishore Kumar (born as Abhas Kumar Ganguly (); 4 August 1929 – 13 October 1987) was an Indian playback singer and actor. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest, most influential and dynamic singers in the history of Indian music.
