''Apamea inordinata'' is a moth of the family Noctuidae. It is found in the United States, including New York (state), New York, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Colorado, and California. In Canada it is found in Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. Its wingspan is about 34 mm. Herbert Knowles Morrison
Herbert Knowles Morrison (January 24, 1854 – June 15, 1885) was an American entomologist and professional collector of insects. He was one of the founding members of the Cambridge Entomological Club, Massachusetts. Morrison was born in Boston, the oldest child of William Albert and Mary Elizabeth (née Butler).
