Apache Jackrabbit
Apache Jackrabbit is an open source content repository for the Java platform. The Jackrabbit project was started on August 28, 2004, when Day Software licensed an initial implementation of the Java Content Repository API (JCR). Jackrabbit was also used as the reference implementation of JSR-170, specified within the Java Community Process. The project graduated from the Apache Incubator on March 15, 2006, and is now a Top Level Project of the Apache Software Foundation. Apache Software Foundation
The Apache Software Foundation (ASF) is an American nonprofit corporation (classified as a 501(c)(3) organization in the United States) to support a number of open source software projects. The ASF was formed from a group of developers of the Apache HTTP Server, and incorporated on March 25, 1999. As of 2021, it includes approximately 1000 members. XPath (XML Path Language) is an expression language designed to support the query or transformation of XML documents. It was defined by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and can be used to compute values (e.g., strings, numbers, or Boolean values) from the content of an XML document. OpenKM
OpenKM is a document management system that provides a web interface for managing nonspecific files. It has a Free/Libre Community Edition, and a proprietary Enterprise Edition. OpenKM includes a content repository, Lucene indexing, and jBPM workflow. The OpenKM system was developed using open technology (Java, Tomcat, Lucene, Hibernate, Spring). Magnolia is an open-source content management system (CMS). It is developed by Magnolia International Ltd., based in Basel, Switzerland. It is based on Content repository API for Java (JSR-283). Apache Sling is an open source Web framework for the Java platform designed to create content-centric applications on top of a JSR-170-compliant (a.k.a.
