Anzhelika Shevchuk (born 23 February 1969) is a retired Ukrainian sprinter who specialized in the 100 metres. In 1992 she became the first Ukrainian champion in the 100 metres. Sprinting is running over a short distance at the top-most speed of the body in a limited period of time. The shortest common outdoor running distance, the dash is one of the most popular and prestigious events in the sport of athletics.
