Anytime You Need
Armenia participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 with the song "Anytime You Need" written by Hayko and Karen Kavaleryan. The song was performed by Hayko. The Armenian entry for the 2007 contest in Helsinki, Finland was selected through the national final ''Evrotesil 2007'', organised by the Armenian broadcaster Public Television of Armenia (AMPTV). The national final and consisted of three shows: two semi-finals and a final. Ten entries competed in each semi-final with three from each semi-final alongside a wildcard qualifying to compete in the final on 25 February 2007. "Anytime You Need" performed by Hayko was selected by a professional jury as the winner. As one of the ten highest placed finishers in 2006, Armenia automatically qualified to compete in the final of the Eurovision Song Contest. Hayko
Hayk "Hayko" Hakobyan ( hy, Հայկ Հակոբյան; 25 August 1973 – 29 September 2021) was an Armenian singer and songwriter. Biography Hayko was born on 25 August 1973 in Yerevan, Armenia (then part of the Soviet Union). He studied at Yerevan Secondary School No. 170, then in Secondary School No. 32 named after Hovhannes Tumanyan. In 1987, he graduated from the Yerkhani Chukhachyan Music School and was admitted to R. Melikyan Music College. He started his music career in 1996 with his first song ''Love'' ( hy, link=no, Սեր). He won Armenia's national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 in Helsinki. Ara Torosyan (born May 10, 1972), known in the Armenian music industry by his pen name ''Murzo'', is a music arranger and record producer. He is widely recognized to be one of the best music arrangers in his native country of Armenia. Torosyan arranged music and produced records for Andre, Tata Simonyan, Eva Rivas, as well as Armenian folk music stars Inga and Anush Arshakyans. Sirusho
Siranush Harutyunyan ( hy, Սիրանուշ Հարությունյան; born 7 January 1987), known professionally as Sirusho ( hy, Սիրուշո), is an Armenian singer and songwriter. She received her first award when she was nine years old for her song "Lusabats". Sirusho's first studio album, ''Sirusho'', was released in 2000; followed by the second album ''Sheram'' in 2005. In the same year, she was awarded the Future of Armenian Music, Best Album and Best Female Performer awards in the first Armenian National Music Awards. Moldova In The Eurovision Song Contest 2007
Moldova participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 with the song "Fight" written by Alexandru Braşoveanu and Elena Buga. The song was performed by Natalia Barbu. The Moldovan broadcaster TeleRadio-Moldova (TRM) internally selected the Moldovan entry for the 2007 contest in Helsinki, Finland. 34 entries competed to represent Moldova in Helsinki though a process entitled ''Pentru Eurovision 2007'', with three being shortlisted to participate in a live audition on 14 December 2006 where "Fight" performed by Natalia Barbu was selected by an expert jury. Turkey participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 with the song "Shake It Up Şekerim" written and performed by Kenan Doğulu, who was internally selected by the Turkish broadcaster Türkiye Radyo ve Televizyon Kurumu (TRT) to represent the nation at the 2007 contest in Helsinki, Finland. The Eurovision Song Contest 2006 was the 51st edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. It took place in Athens, Greece, following the country's victory at the with the song "My Number One" by Helena Paparizou. Erik Karapetyan ( arm, Էրիկ Կարապետյան; born 5 June 1988), better known as simply Erik, is an Armenian singer-songwriter. He represented Armenia in the 2011 New Wave international contest for young performers and achieved fifth place. He also won "Audience's Choice" of that competition. Emma Bejanyan (; born 12 April 1984), better known as Emmy () is an Armenian singer. She is considered one of Armenia's most popular and influential singers, being labelled as a "pop princess" and "Armenian pop icon". Emmy represented Armenia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 and became the country's first non-qualifier.
