''Anya Jibon'' ( bn, অন্য জীবন) is a Bangladeshi Bengali language film that was released in 1995. The film's screenplay and directed by acclaimed filmmaker Sheikh Niamat Ali and also produced the film from his own banner S Niamot Ali productions. The film stars Raisul Islam Asad, Champa, Abul Khair, Shanta Islam, Chitralekha Guho, Tamalika Karmokar and Others. In 1991, the film received the National Film Award for the best film award with the other 11 categories. Sheikh Niamat Ali
Sheikh Niamat Ali (30 April 1940 – 24 November 2003) was a Bangladeshi film director. He won Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Director in 1979, 1985 and 1995 for all the three feature films he ever made - '' Surja Dighal Bari'', ''Dahan'' and ''Anyajiban'' respectively. Career In 1977, Ali and his co-director Masihuddin Shaker started shooting the film '' Surja Dighal Bari''. The film was based on a novel by Abu Ishaque about the rural people in the 1950s. It won five international awards, including Mannheim Film Festival and Portugal Film Society. It was the first film made from Bangladesh government grant. Asaduzzaman Mohammad Raisul Islam (known as Raisul Islam Asad; born 15 July 1953) is a Bangladeshi freedom fighter and an actor in radio, theatre, television and film. He won Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Actor four times for his roles in the films ''Padma Nadir Majhi'' (1993), ''Anya Jibon'' (1995), '' Dukhai'' (1997) and '' Lalsalu'' (2001). Besides, he won Best Supporting Actor award twice for the roles in '' Ghani: The Cycle'' (2006) and ''Mrittika Maya'' (2013). As of 2016, he acted in more than 50 films.
