Anwar Hussain Khokhar (16 July 1920 – 9 October 2002) (Urdu:انور حسین کھوکھر) was a member of Pakistan's first Test team in 1952. Born in Lahore, Khokhar was a cousin of another Pakistani cricketer Aslam Khokhar. He played first-class cricket in Indian competitions from 1941 to 1947, and in Pakistan from 1947 to 1955. He faced the first ball bowled in first-class cricket in Pakistan when he opened the batting for Sind against West Punjab in December 1947.''Wisden'' 2003, pp. 1613–14. His best first-class performances came when he captained Sind against the touring West Indians in 1948–49, and he scored 12 and 81 and took 4 for 66 and 1 for 19 in the drawn match. Anwar Hossain (6 December 1931 – 13 September 2013) was a Bangladeshi actor, best known for playing the role of Siraj ud-Daulah in the Bengali film Nawab Sirajuddaula (1967). He appeared in nearly 500 movies in his 50-year career. Qazi Anwar Hussain (19 July 1936 – 19 January 2022) was a Bangladeshi writer who mainly penned spy thriller, detective and adventure based novels, most of which are adaptations translated from or heavily influenced by foreign literature. Early life and education Hussain was born on 19 July 1936. His father was scientist and writer, Qazi Motahar Hossain. Hussain grew up in a literary environment. Anwar Hussein (born 1938) is a Tanganyika-born British photo journalist and author. In 2016 he became the longest-serving photographer covering the British royal family and Queen Elizabeth II. Hussein is notable for changing perceptions of royal family through the use of casual photographs instead of formal portrait photography. Two of Hussein's sons went on to become royal photographers, but working independently from Hussein. Kazi Anowar Hossain (14 January 1941 – 8 February 2007) was a Bangladeshi painter who was known for his classical portrayal of rural Bengal. He was awarded Ekushey Padak in 2016 posthumously by the Government of Bangladesh. Early life Although born in Gopalganj district, he grew up in Madaripur, in the service of his father.
