Anveshana
''Anveshana'' () is a 1985 Indian Telugu-language mystery thriller film written and directed by Vamsy. It stars Karthik, Bhanupriya, Kaikala Satyanarayana and Sarath Babu with music composed by Ilaiyaraaja. The story revolves around an ornithologist and a police officer coming to a forest and trying to solve the mystery of a series of killings, allegedly by a man-eating tiger. The film received positive response for its screenplay, performances, and music, and was commercially successful. It ran for 100 days in 11 centres. ''Aparichita'' () is a 1978 Kannada-language romantic mystery thriller film directed by Kashinath, starring Suresh Heblikar, Sobha, M. V. Vasudeva Rao and Mohan. Vamsy is an Indian film director, screenwriter and music director known for his works in Telugu cinema. In 1985, he received the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Telugu, National Film Award for ''Sitaara''. Murali Karthikeyan Muthuraman (born 13 September 1960), better known by his stage name Karthik, is an Indian actor, playback singer and politician who works mainly in Tamil cinema. Bhanupriya (born Mangabhanu; 15 January 1967) is an Indian actress, Kuchipudi dancer, and voice artist. Anil Malnad (12 October 1957 – 19 March 2018) was an Indian editor who worked in over 200 films across Telugu, Tamil and Odia languages. He won the National Film Award for Best Editing for the Telugu film ''Sitaara'' (1984). Biography Malnad was born as G. R. Dattatreya in Malnad, Karnataka, India. He started his film career as an assistant director with the 1971 Telugu film '' Sampoorna Ramayanam'', directed by Bapu. He later became an editor and made his debut as an editor with Bapu's Vamsa Vruksham (1980). Malnad lived with his family in Chromepet, Chennai. He died at the age of 66 on 19 March 2018 at a private hospital in Chennai; he was admitted after he suffered a heart attack. Kaikala Satyanarayana (25 July 1935 – 23 December 2022) was an Indian actor, producer, director, and politician who predominantly worked in Telugu cinema. He appeared in over 750 films and served as the Member of Parliament in the 11th Lok Sabha representing Machilipatnam constituency from Telugu Desam Party.
