Anustup Majumdar
Anustup Majumdar (born 30 April 1984) is an Indian first-class cricketer who plays for Bengal. He was born in Chinsurah and spent his early life there before moving onto Liluah. He plays for the Mohun Bagan cricket team in the CAB division. He is a right-hand batsman and leg-break bowler. He was a part of Pune Warriors squad in the Indian Premier League. Majumdar has played for India A cricket team in 2012.He was instrumental in the Bengal squad of 2019-2020 ranji trophy, where he scored a crucial 149 in the semi-finals against Karnataka in Eden gardens to reach 311 1st innings total and eventually went on to play the finals against Saurastra. Chandannagore
Chandannagar french: Chandernagor ), also known by its former name Chandernagore and French name Chandernagor, is a city in the Hooghly district in the Indian state of West Bengal. It is headquarter of the Chandannagore subdivision and is part of the area covered by the Kolkata Metropolitan Development Authority (KMDA). Located on the western bank of Hooghly River, the city was one of the five settlements of French India. Indo-French architecture is seen in the colonial bungalows, most of which are in a dilapidated state. The 2017–18 Ranji Trophy was the 84th season of the Ranji Trophy, the premier first-class cricket tournament that took place in India between October 2017 and January 2018. Vidarbha won the tournament, beating Delhi by 9 wickets in the final, to win their first Ranji Trophy title. Vidarbha made their Ranji Trophy debut in the 1957–58 season, making it the third-longest wait before a team won their maiden title. The India A cricket team is a national cricket team representing India. It is the second-tier of Indian international cricket, below the full India national cricket team. Pune Warriors India were a franchise Twenty20 cricket team that represented the city of Pune in the Indian Premier League (IPL). The team was one of two IPL franchises from the Indian state of Maharashtra, the other being Mumbai Indians. It was one of two new franchises added to the IPL for the 2011 season, alongside the also-defunct Kochi Tuskers Kerala.
