Anubandham (1984 Film)
''Anubandham'' () is a 1984 Telugu-language drama film directed by A. Kodandarami Reddy. The film stars Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Raadhika and Sujatha, with music composed by Chakravarthy. It is a remake of the Bengali film ''Uttar Purush'' (1966) which was previously remade in Tamil as ''Uyarndha Manithan'' (1968). Plot The film begins with Rajesh the son of a multi-millionaire visiting their estate with his besties’ driver Ranganna & Dr. Gopal, where Rajesh meets tribal girl Malli and they fall in love. Soon they secretly espouse with the help of Gopal and start living happily. After a few months, Malli becomes pregnant when Rajesh's father arrives at the estate and becomes furious knowing Rajesh's marriage. So, he orders his henchmen to set on fire to Malli's house when Rajesh assumes she is dead. But fortuitously, she escapes, is cared for by Ramanaiah, and dies after giving birth to a child. Akkineni Nageswara Rao
Akkineni Nageswara Rao (20 September 1923 – 22 January 2014), widely known as ANR, was an Indian actor and producer, known for his works majorly in Telugu cinema. He starred in many landmark films in his seventy five-year career, and became one of the most prominent figures of Telugu cinema. Nageswara Rao received seven state Nandi Awards, and five Filmfare Awards South. He is a recipient of the Dada Saheb Phalke Award and Padma Vibhushan, India's second highest civilian award, for his contributions to the fields of Art and Cinema. Raavi Kondala Rao
Raavi Kondala Rao (11 February 1932 – 28 July 2020) was an Indian actor, screenwriter, playwright, and journalist who worked in Telugu cinema and Telugu theatre. He acted in over 400 films. He won Nandi Award for Best Story Writer for '' Pelli Pusthakam'' (1991) and won Nandi Award for Best Book on Telugu Cinema for ''Black and White''. Acharya Aatreya (born Kilambi Venkata Narasimhacharyulu ) (7 May 1921 – 13 September 1989) was an Indian poet, lyricist, playwright, and screenwriter known for his works in Telugu cinema and Telugu theatre. He received the state Nandi Award for Best Lyricist in 1981 for "Andamaina Lokamani" from the film Tholi Kodi Koosindi, ''Tholikoodi Koosindi''. He is popularly known as ''Manasu Kavi (''). Veturi Sundararama Murthy (29 January 1936 – 22 May 2010), known mononymously by his surname Veturi, was an Indian poet, lyricist and journalist who is popular for writing Telugu songs. His career in the Telugu cinema spanned more than four decades. He was highly admired and cherished for his deep and thoughtful lyrics in Telugu songs.
