Antonio Nathanahel Santos (born October 6, 1996) is a Dominican professional baseball pitcher in the Chicago Cubs organization. He has previously played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Colorado Rockies. Career Colorado Rockies Santos signed with the Colorado Rockies as an international free agent on July 2, 2015. He spent the 2015 season with the DSL Rockies, going 1–2 with a 0.75 ERA over 24 innings. He split the 2016 season between the DSL and the Boise Hawks, going a combined 6–4 with a 3.87 ERA over innings. He spent the 2017 season with the Asheville Tourists, going 9–10 with a 5.39 ERA over 147 innings. In baseball, the pitcher is the player who throws ("pitches") the baseball from the pitcher's mound toward the catcher to begin each play, with the goal of retiring a batter, who attempts to either make contact with the pitched ball or draw a walk. The Arizona Fall League (AFL) is an off-season sports league owned and operated by Major League Baseball (MLB) which operates during the autumn in Arizona, United States, at six different baseball complexes. Arizona Fall League rosters are filled by many of the top prospects in Minor League Baseball (MiLB) who are assigned by their parent clubs. Structure The six teams of the AFL are organized in two three-team divisions. The Mexican League (, ) is a professional baseball league based in Mexico and the oldest running professional league in the country. The league has 18 teams organized in two divisions, North and South. Teams play 114 games each season.
