Arturo Antonio Rodríguez (born 1915), nicknamed "Pollo", was a Cuban Negro league and Mexican League infielder. A native of Havana, Cuba, Rodríguez made his Negro leagues debut in 1935 with the Cuban Stars (East). Antonio Rodríguez de Hita (18 January 1722 – 21 February 1787) was a Spanish composer. Life Rodríguez was born at Valverde de Alcalá. He became ''maestro de capilla'' at Palencia Cathedral (c.1740-c.1757) and at the Royal Convent of La Encarnación, Madrid. His father, Marcos Rodríguez del Mercado, a schoolteacher at Corpa Madrid, him to study at the college of the Cathedral of Alcalá de Henares, where he studied Latin, music theory, plainchant, organ and composition. Early in August 1738, he was named second organist in the cathedral and in September was appointed ''maestro de capilla'' through open competition. Rodríguez took holy orders later. His earliest known works are the Vespers for 2 choirs written in the old style, 1740. In August 1744 he became ''maestro de capilla'' at Palencia Cathedral. The Lufthansa heist was a robbery at New York City's John F. Kennedy International Airport on December 11, 1978. An estimated $5.875 million (equivalent to $ million in ) was stolen, with $5 million in cash and $875,000 in jewelry, making it the largest cash robbery committed on American soil at the time. Jimmy Burke, a Lucchese crime family associate, was reputed to be the mastermind of the robbery, but was never officially charged in connection with the crime. Burke is also alleged to have either committed or ordered the murders of many of those involved in the months following the robbery to avoid being implicated in the heist. The only person convicted in the robbery was Louis Werner, an airport worker who helped plan the heist. The money and jewelry have never been recovered. Antonio Rodríguez Medero (1712 – April 10, 1760) was the mayor of San Antonio, Texas, in 1741.Balbuena Castellano, José Manuel. Antonio Rodríguez Luna (July 22, 1910 – 1985) was a Spanish painter who developed most of his career while in exile in Mexico during the Spanish Civil War. He began his career young, while still studying in Madrid and before the war had already exhibited in various places in Europe. His opposition to Francisco Franco, forced him into exile, with intellectuals and artists in the country arranging his asylum. His career here included a Guggenheim Fellowship with major exhibitions in Washington DC and New York along with exhibitions at the Museo de Arte Moderno and the Palacio de Bellas Artes in Mexico. Antonio Rodríguez Ferrer (August 23, 1864 – October 22, 1935) was a Cuban composer and band conductor. In 1898, he became composer of the musical introductory notes to the Cuban national anthem. He was a professor of music and conducted choirs and bands. Besides composing music for bands, he composed two symphonies, ''Preludio Tematico'' and ''Fantasia'', and a series of ''Danzas Cubanas'' for piano.
