Antonio Murdaca
Antonio "Anthony" Murdaca (born 3 July 1995) is an Australian professional golfer from South Australia, Australia. Murdaca won the 2014 Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship which earned him an invitation to the 2015 Masters Tournament. At the Masters, he missed the cut. Murdaca finished sixth in his title defense at the 2015 Asia-Pacific Amateur, after which he turned pro. 2015 Masters Tournament
The 2015 Masters Tournament was the 79th Masters Tournament, and the first of golf's four major championships, held April 9–12 at Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia. Jordan Spieth led wire-to-wire and shot a record-tying 270 (−18) to win his first major at the age of 21, four strokes ahead of runners-up Phil Mickelson and Justin Rose, both major champions. Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship
The Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship is an annual amateur golf tournament. It is played at various locations throughout Asia-Pacific. It is organized by the Asia-Pacific Golf Confederation (APGC) and was first played in 2009. It was organized in conjunction with the Masters Tournament and The R&A, organizers of The Open Championship. The winner receives an invitation to the Masters and The Open Championship (beginning in 2018). The winner and runner-up had previously gained entry to International Final Qualifying for the Open from 2009 to 2017. In 2011, the winner also receives an invitation to the Asian Tour's season ending Thailand Golf Championship. It is also considered an "elite" event by the World Amateur Golf Ranking in that any player that makes the cut is eligible to be ranked. Australian Men's Interstate Teams Matches
The Australian Men's Interstate Teams Matches were an amateur team golf competition for men between the states and territories of Australia. The event started in 1904 when New South Wales played Victoria. Until World War II the event was played as part of the championship meeting which included the Australian Amateur. It was not until 1947 that all six states, New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania, Victoria, and Western Australia, contested the event together. Northern Territory first played in 2015 increasing the number of teams to seven. The final format was a round-robin tournament, each team playing the other six teams, after which the top two teams play a final. Each team consisted of eight players.
