Antonio Fosson
Antonio Fosson (born 11 October 1951) is an Italian politician. Antonio was elected president of Aosta Valley from 10 December 2018 to 16 December 2019. Antonio is a member of the Pour Notre Vallée Party. Biography Antonio was born in Ivrea, Italy. But he was elected senator in 2008 from ayes. He is a member of the 12th Standing Committee on Hygiene and Health, as well as of the Parliamentary Committee on Regional Questions. Career At the 2018 regional elections in Valle d'Aosta he was re-elected from the common list with Stella Alpina. On 26 June 2018 he was elected President of the Valle d'Aosta Regional Council at the beginning of the XV Aosta Valley legislature with 18 preferences. In October he left the group "AC-Stella Alpina- Pour Notre Vallée" to join the mixed group together with his party colleague Claudio Restano. Ivrea
Ivrea (; pms, Ivrèja ; ; lat, Eporedia) is a town and ''comune'' of the Metropolitan City of Turin in the Piedmont region of northwestern Italy. Situated on the road leading to the Aosta Valley (part of the medieval Via Francigena), it straddles the Dora Baltea and is regarded as the centre of the Canavese area. Ivrea lies in a basin that in prehistoric times formed a large lake. Today five smaller lakes — Sirio, San Michele, Pistono, Nero and Campagna — are found in the area around the town. On July 1, 2018, the site which is known as "Industrial City of the 20th Century" was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Pour Notre Vallée
For Our Valley (''Pour Notre Vallée'', PNV) is a centrist political party active in Aosta Valley, Italy. In November 2016 two regional councillors, former senator Antonio Fosson and Claudio Restano, left the Valdostan Union (UV) in disagreement with Augusto Rollandin, President of Aosta Valley, and launched the party. PNV was immediately admitted into the coalition supporting the regional government composed also of the Progressive Valdostan Union (UVP), Edelweiss (SA) and the Democratic Party (PD). In March 2017 PNV stopped supporting the government and, along with the UVP, SA and Autonomy Liberty Participation Ecology (ALPE), formed a new government without the UV, under President Pierluigi Marquis (SA), with Restano minister of Tourism, Sports, Commerce and Transports. In June 2017 the group of the PNV was enlarged to Carlo Norbiato, another dissident from the UV, and consequently changed name to Civic Area – For Our Valley. Ayas, Aosta Valley
Ayas ( frp, Ayâs or ; Gressoney wae, Ajats; between 1939 and 1945) is a '' comune sparso'' in the Aosta Valley region of northwestern Italy, with 1359 inhabitants in 2010. Geography It is made up of several ''frazioni'' (locally officially called ''hameaux'', in French), the two major ones being Antagnod which holds the town hall and the main parish, and Champoluc. All the ''frazioni'' of Ayas were combined under the one jurisdictional parish of Saint-Martin d'Antagnod in 1761. They remained combined in this way until the new parish of Sainte-Anne of Champoluc was built in 1946. The comune of Ayas lies up the Ayas valley from Brusson.
