Antonio César Medina
Antonio César Medina (born 18 December 1984) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Boca Unidos. Career Chaco For Ever became Medina's first club in 2002, he remained with them for two years until he left to join Textil Mandiyú in 2004 but returned to Chaco For Ever soon after in 2005. After two more years with Chaco For Ever, Medina joined Torneo Argentino A side Boca Unidos in 2007. Three years later, he departed Boca Unidos, after winning the 2008–09 Torneo Argentino A and scoring 16 goals in his last three seasons with them, to sign for Primera B Nacional club Rosario Central. He made his debut on 11 September 2010 against Atlético de Rafaela. On 9 November, Medina scored his first goal for them in a 1–0 win versus Instituto. Resistencia, Chaco
Resistencia () is the capital and largest city of the province of Chaco in north-eastern Argentina. According to the 2010 census, the population of the city proper was 291,720 inhabitants. It is the anchor of a larger metropolitan area, Greater Resistencia, which comprises at least three more municipalities for a total population of 387,340 as of 2010. This conurbation is the largest in the province, and the eleventh most populous in the country. It is located along the Negro River, a tributary of the much larger Paraná River, opposite the city of Corrientes, Corrientes Province. The area was originally inhabited by Guaycuru aboriginals such as the Tobas. Their resistance to evangelisation postponed substantial European settlement until the late 19th century. The 2018–19 Argentine Torneo Federal A, is the 6th season of the third tier of the Argentine football league system. The tournament is reserved for teams indirectly affiliated to the Asociación del Fútbol Argentino (AFA), while teams affiliated to AFA have to play the Primera B Metropolitana, which is the other third tier competition. The champion is promoted to Primera B Nacional. 36 teams are competing in the league, 29 returning from the 2017–18 season, 3 teams that were relegated from Primera B Nacional and 4 teams promoted from Federal B. The regular season began on September 8, 2018 and will end in June 2019. The 2017–18 Argentine Primera B Nacional is the 33rd season of the Argentine second division. The season began in September 2017 and ended in June 2018. Twenty-five teams competed in the league, seventeen returning from the 2016–17 season, four teams that were relegated from Primera División and two teams promoted from Federal A and B Metropolitana. Competition format The league's format changed from the previous season. Twenty-five teams play each other once for a total of twenty-four matches each. The 2016–17 Argentine Primera División – Torneo de la Independencia was the 127th season of top-flight professional football in Argentina. The tournament was named in commemoration of the 200th anniversary of the Independence of Argentina. The season began on August 26, 2016 and ended on June 27, 2017.
