Antonio Briceño
Antonio Briceño (born 5 December 1966) is a Venezuelan photographer and activist for environmental issues, ethnic minorities, and human rights. He has a graduate degree in biology from the Central University of Venezuela and a master's degree in Digital Arts from the Pompeu Fabra University. He is the co-founder of the conservationist nongovernmental organization PROVITA. Biography Briceño was born in Caracas, Venezuela. His passion for photography began when he was a teenager. He first exhibited his work in 1987. Central University Of Venezuela
The Central University of Venezuela (Spanish: ''Universidad Central de Venezuela''; UCV) is a public university of Venezuela located in Caracas. It is widely held to be the highest ranking institution in the country, and it also ranks 18th in Latin America. Founded in 1721, it is the oldest university in Venezuela and one of the oldest in the Western Hemisphere. The main university campus, Ciudad Universitaria de Caracas, was designed by architect Carlos Raúl Villanueva and it is considered a masterpiece of urban planning and was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2000.
