Antonio Bartoccetti
Antonio Bartoccetti (Macerata, 18 December 1946) is an Italian musician and composer, and leader of the musical groups, Antonius Rex, Jacula, Dietro Noi Deserto and Invisible Force. Biography Beginning in 1968, his primary focus has been progressive rock. His bands, notably Antonius Rex, have published numerous LPs. In recent years, four other albums have been released on CD and digital download: ''Magic Ritual'', ''Switch On Dark'', ''Per Viam, Pre Viam''. As producer, Antonio Bartoccetti has also produced all albums and singles by his son Rexanthony. He is married to musical pioneer, Doris Norton. Macerata
Macerata () is a city and ''comune'' in central Italy, the county seat of the province of Macerata in the Marche region. It has a population of about 41,564. History The historical city centre is on a hill between the Chienti and Potenza rivers. It first consisted of the Picenes city named Ricina (''Helvia Recina''), then, after its romanization, Recina and Helvia Recina. After the destruction of Helvia Recina by the barbarians, the inhabitants took shelter in the hills and eventually began to rebuild the city, first on the top of the hills, before descending again later and expanding. The newly rebuilt town was Macerata. Tardo Pede In Magiam Versus
''Tardo Pede In Magiam Versus'' is the second album by the Italian rock band Jacula. The album was recorded in Milan, Italy. Gualtiero Guerrini and others helped with the recording in Studio Angelicum, which had a church organ. After the limited release of the album in 1972, the changed its name to Antonius Rex, maintaining the same lineup of Jacula. "U.F.D.E.M." reappears in remixed form as "Morte Al Potere" on Antonious Rex's 1977 ''Zora'' album, the new version featuring newly recorded overdubs with the original 1972 version as the basic track. Pre Viam
''Pre Viam'' is the third studio album by the Italian rock band Jacula, released in 2011 nearly four decades after previous work. In the interim, the band's leader, Antonio Bartoccetti, had formed a new band, Antonius Rex. When Bartoccetti brought Jacula back to the recording studio, the original organist, Charles Tiring, had been dead since 1979. Original keyboardist Doris Norton was replaced with Bartoccetti's son, Rexanthony. Antonius Rex was an Italian progressive rock band founded in 1974 in Milan by Antonio Bartoccetti. It is the same band as Jacula with a different name. Biography Jacula formed in 1968 and released its debut album, '' In Cauda Semper Stat Venenum'', in 1969. After the release of the 1972 album ''Tardo Pede In Magiam Versus'', the band split up. Bandleader Bartoccetti then formed Antonius Rex in 1974 with new members, releasing eight albums under this name. Decca Records is a British record label established in 1929 by Edward Lewis (Decca), Edward Lewis. Its U.S. label was established in late 1934 by Lewis, Jack Kapp, American Decca's first president, and Milton Rackmil, who later became American Decca's president.
